A very warm and welcoming eatery in Orchha.The first time we popped in we were not only enchanted by the superb rooftop views of the Palace and Chaturbhuj Temple but by the friendly and hospitable owner Sohit ,who made us feel very comfortable and at home, after a long and arduous journey from Bundi. Before leaving we asked him if he could prepare rajma chawal for us the following evening,whereby we met the chef and explained exactly how we wanted it.Vegan for over 40 years we asked him not to use any animal products and make it really local,spicy and with less oil.....and the next day we were really wowed with the result....it was truly delicious....and great to have such a homestyle meal....using spices like whole black elichi etc.Highlight of our visit....both nights we were offered the most exquisite tasting "peanut masala"(as we waited for our food) which was so moreish and a real appetite "opener"!The chapatis too were light ,fluffy and well cooked.....so all in all a beautiful dining experience which made us return ...

A must try restaurant. I visited this place for dinner. A must try is Orchha thali. My suggestion - place an order for this thali in advance ( If you want to have it in dinner, tell the owner in afternoon). I ensure you that you will not regret it.

Must try desserts - Gulab jamun served with icecream Gujiya All the sweets are made from Desi Mawa with apt amount of sweetness.

The owner of the restaurant is very humble. He will recommend the best dishes according to your taste.

The view from the restaurant is amazing. At night time, you will be able to see the top of the fort, lightened with lights. It is a very pleasant view.
