Centrally placed, diagonally opposite Kumar Resorts, Lonavla on the main road, so very conveniently located.
Quite a big area, not huge, having plenty of rooms and conference halls. A swimming pool, adequate, but not very big. Has a pool with fish and turtles, where we could sit and observe them. Quite relaxing. A lot of flowering plants of a myriad of colours which made the place very picturesque and beautiful. My daughter went gaga over the place and that's why we stayed here.
There were couple/ family (4 seats, 2 on each side) swings, where we sat during the early mornings and evenings as a couple and family, and spent time alone reading or just sitting on them below the shady trees.
There was a kind of covered sitting arrangement where we played scrabble without a board ( we call it take 2) as a family as well as a couple. ( even got one person from the hotel interested in this game and played/ showed him how to play). Evenings, in this area there were mosquitoes, being near the greenery and fish pool, however we used long pants and shoes along with a mosquito coil provided by the hotel.
The rooms were of different types. We chose one on the ground floor, having a double bed and side "divan" to which a mattress was added to give us another single bed. AC kept us cool.
There's a TV with tataplay or some other company. A kettle, tea, coffee milk and sugar packets. In our room there was a mini fridge where we put perishables.
Toilets were small but clean and neat. Hot/cold water was there throughout the day. Our room had a shower and a hand held shower.
Bed was king or queen size, not sure which. The mattress was firm but no complaints.
In our room we had a small "private" sitting arrangement outside, on the other side of the entrance. Could just sit there in the cool mornings and evening, sometimes having a snack.
Around the pool area there were arrangements for sitting, and we had a meal or two there. There is a restraunt near the pool, which has certain timings. Room service was available all the time. The food at the restraunt was ok, did have a few meals here, but ate outside on most other occasions.
Breakfast was provided with the room.
Staff were genuine as much as we could tell and very helpful.
A little bit on the expensive side, but we had a great time. To smoothen our stay we stayed here for 3 nights and spent a few other nights in another place, so we were...

Stay: Frustrating! We had booked 2 rooms. The moment rooms were allocated, I got the rooms changed as the rooms were road facing. The hotel is right on the NH4 and a busy junction. The rooms had so much of noise. I requested rooms to be changed and were promptly changed by front desk. The new rooms were pretty spacious at the rear side of the property and newly built. After few hours we found the bathroom fittings were broken. We did not complain as we had just changed the room. Next day when we tried to use hot water we realized there was hot water issue. Tap had hot water only for 10 seconds and then again cold water. The room was fitted with a makeshift geyser instead as the earlier boiler had broken. It was 19 degs outside so we complained to front desk, the staff already knew the room had a geyser instead of boiler for hot water, but still that room was allotted to us. We again changed the room. So out of 2 days we spent 2 mornings in only unpacking, packing and shifting rooms. My father's room had water leakage problem at 2 am in the night and my parents couldn't sleep for entire night. Water was leaking from roof in toilet and the staff already knew about this problem but still it was allotted to us. Very frustrating stay experience.
Food: average food taste and quality. Good service. We asked for few specific things for kids and staff promptly arranged it for us.
Service: excellent and friendly staff. Very prompt to get whatever you ask for.
Room service: charged for morning tea and milk too. Only 1 litre of complimentary bottled water on first day.
Value for money: No value for money, for such experience, not worth it.
Swimming Pool: small and right in the centre of property.
Kids play area and games room: very good, kids have a great time playing. Playing room has 2 carrom and 2 table tennis tables. They also have a fussball table. Kids had a great time playing.
Recommendation: would not...
Read moreSTAY AWAY FROM THIS RESORT..This resort is a perfect example how a property can fool it's customers just by hiring a good photographer. I have shared the pics of what it looks like in real. I will term our experience from check in to check out in one word-PATHETIC. the swimming pool is just for namesake, you cannot think of swimming in DIRTY WATER in which they have thrown hose pipes and car tyre tubes. The room was neat but the SMELL OF FUNGUS INSIDE THE ROOM was so bad that we had to spray our deodrant to survive. Request of room change was denied, Thanks to the rudest staff i have ever dealt with. They dont deserve to be in hospitality line, specially the general manager and lady at the reception. The game room had staff sorting out clothes and other stuff (pic attached). There is a small water body in the name of pond outside the room which has dead fishes and smells bad. You won't get Wi-Fi here and if you call at the reception after 11 pm they will not help you in any case as the sweeper will pick up the call. BE VERY CAREFUL to check out before 10 am as i saw another couple arguing with them for being charged Rs.1000/- for checking out at 11 am. The location of the resort is in the center of town but you will get many better options nearby. And yes, this is not a resort-it is too small to be a resort and it's kind of a guest house. This is just a small and no so clean property which you should stay away from. I rarely post negative reviews but they surely deserved this one. They should spend some money on maintainance and staff training. I would've ignored all this but couldn't ignore the rude behaviour of their front office. The housekeeping staff was the only friendly people around. And yes, i forgot to mention the food. The breakfast has very few options and was very tasteless. The only thing that we could eat was the omelette. So my suggestion for anyone reading this review would be please stay away....
