Great place to enjoy a homely type Gujarathi Thali here. All the items served are excellent. Their Puram poli is out of the world. Wkends can be worst crowd and it's best to reach their place by 12:30-1 in the afternoon. Beyond that you can expect a long queue and it can take anything between 30-45 minutes to get a table. A lovely early morning drive to Lonavala and a good lunch at Sancheti, followed by a good rest/nap in their garden would be a wonderful relaxation. If you are a bird lover, you can expect to witness several rare birds in their garden.

On the Main Mumbai–Pune Road, just before the Kumar Resorts Junction, you'll find Sancheti Lawn, a big restaurant area serving Unlimited Gujarati Thali from Nirmala Caterers. The dining area is simple, with steel tables and chairs, and the Thali is served in a self-service buffet style. In relation to the cost, the food is fantastic. An adult will set you back INR 250, while a child's rate is INR 150. Well worth the trip. It has ample parking space. Hospitality is great

We stayed in lonavala for three days.. All the three days we had dinner in their restaurant.. Don't know about their rooms but the food is amazing.. So delicious 😋, lip-smacking... Homely food.. No garam masala no added food colors.. The food served is with so much care you feel like being at home..they serve unlimited food with such a good variety on the thali.. With big broad smiles on the face..

Simple and tasty Indian Thali

Perfect taste of Thali; just like home-made food.

The Thali with unlimited food is really good. Though the food seems simple but is really tasty. They serve 2 subzi; roti; Dal; Kadi; Chaas; and Rice/ Khichda with a sweet dish (puranpoli on Sundays only)

Cost: Good value for money. Price of 1 Thali is Rs. 200/- per person

Ambience: Ambience is simple but clean.

Rating: 4 out of 5 mainly for the taste of Indian food.

Recommendation: Highly recommend this place for veg food.
