HOTEL S K PALACE — Hotel in Maharashtra

Hotel S K Palace is a budget hotel in Mahabaleshwar with decent, clean and well maintained rooms. However that is about all the good things I can say about the hotel. ||||The hotel is located in a cramped lane making it extremely difficult for two cars coming in from opposite directions to move forward without one driver giving way. As a result, they do have parking at the hotel and they make guests park at a paid parking center nearby which has its own hassles as the guard of the parking area locks the parking lot in the night and go away, meaning you can't go anywhere until he returns in the morning. Coming to the hotel, while the room is good, the bathroom is pretty average and the worst part is that they only have hot water facility in the morning till about 10 AM. And even this does not work if there's no power. The worst part of this hotel would undoubtedly be the rudeness and professionalism of the hotel staff who don't care at all. ||||To sum it up, if you only need a room to keep your stuff for a day or so and get a good deal, go for it. Else, it is advisable to look for alternatives nearby as there really isn't much to write home...

This hotel is situated in the main market place. So, shopping in the market becomes easier. Also, there are many hotels nearby, though you order anything and they provide room delivery which is very tasty!! (No need to eat outside)! ||I would like to specially mention about the room service, which is very helpful, courteous and prompt. Room size is good enough to accomodate 2 adults.||They also provide cab service to visit various points in Mahabaleshwar, Panchagani, Wai, Pratapgarh. The prices of visiting these points is standard in Mahabaleshwar(all cabs offer same price). The only drawback I found was there is no parking available with the hotel. (The hotel staff let you park on the roadside in front of hotel...

Neat and tidy Clean room and washroom!! Budget friendly hotel. "They didn't charge extra upon our early arrival instead they directly provided other room and let us get refreshed."

Kind staff, helped answering all your queries with smile. They do have a taxi service with same rate as taxi union. You can opt either of the taxi services. Do not order food from the menu provided in room because hotel itself is not providing food they just provide free service of direct delivery to room. But by the time your food comes to your room it won't be hot and freshly served.
