I booked the hotel for 18-19 june 2018, this was the worst hotel i had ever visited in my life. The dining hall smells horrible , due to this we had only 2 or 3 meals out of 6 meals in the hotel. Color of the water was yellow for drinking , toilet seat was extremely dirty some people might vomit by seeing dirty toilet. As we booked the hotel by some tours and travels we didnt know much about the hotel.
NOTE: Book the hotels from online website as you know the rating and reviews of the customer and if possible take your own car.
Never book mahabaleshwar tour packages because they include meals in the hotel , sight seeing (and if u change some sight seeing points according to you then the cab driver will charge u extra 200 or whatever he says. and also takes extra money if u will exceed his waiting time ) e.g. our cab driver given only 30 mins to explore mapro garden the initial mins goes into taking selfies near the entrance and remaining time goes into roaming the mapro garden still u need more time for shopping from mapro store , therefore we tooked around 1.15 hrs in total , means extra 45 mins, driver tooked 100 rs extra as waiting charges and 200rs more bcoz we changed the sight seeing from panchgani to mapro garden and the cab was unsafe to travel as its tyre blast after initial start...
Read moreI stayed at Mahabaleshwar Palace Hotel for two nights with my family and the 3rd day was my checkout in the morning @ 9 a.m. I am very much satisfied by the outstanding overall service including the hotel management and the sight seeing well managed by Sufiyaan Bhai & Farooq Bhai. The hotel is located in the main market, which is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel has a rooftop swimming pool and indoor games, which my kids enjoyed a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The room was spacious and clean, with a fireplace and a sofa. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well-maintained. The hotel has a pure veg restaurant that serves delicious Gujarati, Chinese, and Punjabi food. The breakfast was complimentary and had a good variety of dishes. On Day 1 the hotel also arranged a car for us to visit the nearby attractions, such as Savitri Point, Castle Rock etc. On Day 2 again we visited for sightseeing such as Elephant Head Point, Echo Point and most awesome was Mapro Garden which we were charged Rs.300/- extra. The Hotel is a good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in the main market area of...

Positive:
1- Mid of the market so one can explore.
2- Food is awesome, typical village food such as roti, dal, rice healthy for diet conscious people.
3- For Lunch & Dinner there are 5-6 Items such as Rice, Paratha, Dessert, 2 Curries.
4- For Breakfast, you have Utappam, Idli.
5- Staff behavior is good esp. The kitchen staff, I requested them for roti without oil and also less spicy dal they happily obliged 😊.
6- Hotel is under renovation so the makeover is under process.
Negative:
1- No 24/7 Hot water option, available only from 7:30 to 10 am. You need to keep the tap open and the hot water comes only after stored pipe water is released (1-2 bucket)
2- No Wifi, Mobile network issue (Esp. Airtel)
3- Rooms are spacious but not clean, bed sheets are not replaced, room doors are weak. (At present)
4- Shockingly they don't provide iron to press clothes so you need to visit ironer (2 min away from Hotel).
So for me, this Hotel was a mixed bag, will visit next time too if they overcome...
