Rishikesh Resort Lonavla — Hotel in Maharashtra

Rating this 1 because : The location of this place doesn't tally with the one resort I visited. What happed was this : I had called this hotel to check for room availability, because it was listed in the Oyo app. He said that rooms were available and we could check in whenever we want. That was the reason I didn't bother to book the hotel on Oyo. The next morning I arrived at the destination to find that no such place existed, and that the hotel right next to it was going to be renamed as collection o orchard resort. The photos of the place on both, Oyo and Google maps are of a resort named 7 apple, which is about a 2km ride from there. Frustrated as I was at the apparent fraud, I asked the manager there, at the Lions Den hotel, that why is the location of the place not been updated on the maps. He blurted out that the person who I had called, provided them with bookings and customers. I can't say whether the person on the call really worked at the 7 apple or the non-existent "Collection O Orchard" or not, but I am pretty sure both the hotels are mixed up in this. All in all, the summary is, that I was shown the pictures of some luxurious rooms that without doubt, are at the 7 apple resort and redirected to another accomplice of them, Lions Den hotel which is not even a fraction of what I had anticipated. Either the resort needs to be reported on Oyo, or the location and contact number must be updated. This tomfoolery...

I stayed here for 2 nights and must say its a good place if you want to relax especially out of the crowds of a metro city.

The rooms are very spacious. You have a queen size bed with a large mattress, TV, STB, Fridge etc. The washrooms are clean and hot water is available all the time. But for hot water you need to tell the staff to turn it on everytime you need it.

The service is fine. There is a good support staff, who clean the room spit and span and provide you with whatever you need. Food is served in your room from attached Hotel Radha Krishna Pure veg. The food quality is awesome, yet a bit overpriced.

There is a small swimming pool which is enough for a family to enjoy. And yes it is very clean with appropriate water quality.

The garden is good with swings, see saw and lots of flowering plants.

Major suggestions to Hotel - TV and STB should be maintained as most of the time getting started was an issue. Better soaps need to be provided. For booking price of approx. 4500, a medimix of Rs. 3 is not done. Room service needs improvement. If you order something, it takes lots of time to get your order.
