Hotel Embassy — Hotel in Meghalaya

Stayed there on 17.09.16 and 18.09.16. Booke standard room for two persons, but it turned-out a basic room. Even the shower was not available. You have to use bucket and mug. For hot water you have to request. The window was not having even curtain (which was provided on asking) and you have to wait till 10 PM so that lights coming into room from every direction from lobby would be switched off. The staffs don't bother of your comfort and talk loudly in the lobby or in fact cry. We had submitted keys in reception in morning and after return in the evening, bed was not clean, when I spoke to reception, I was told few minutes ago staffs had cleaned your room. When I took them into room, they were calling staffs and now they only dusted the bed and folded the blankets. At least never book standard room there.Can't say about...

Hotel rooms are not comfortable to stay.It is an old hotel which you can't understand from outside view. Now a days they supply hot water manually. Some rooms do not have enough ventilation, light and air. Management is very poor. But if your budget is very low than you can go there otherwise it's better not to check in there. There is a Wifi connection but range is short and signal is weak. The hotel has some rooms, these are full of light and air. Overall it seems to me that, The hotel management plays a role that how they can save their cost and make more profit. It is near to Police Bazar and centre point of the Shilong city.
