Popularly known as MADRAS CAFE in shillong. Trust me guys 100% authentic South Indian food. I am from TN and I was surprised when I saw this place. I initially assumed that it will be run by some random North Indian guy in the name of South. But everything turnd out other way. The complete management is done by guys from TN except few waiters from local. All Raw materials are coming from selected places in TN and others. I was highly impressed when I discovered who was the owner. Any one visiting this place will find him working like every other staff. His confidence is ultimate and no Normal or even best hotel will do, he took us to his kitchen, store and I was mighty impressed with the highest quality. At 9.30pm I found the oil in "Kadai" new just for one customers order, otherwise they could have refused. Any customer can walk to any place and inspect their quality. Mr. Raghunandan and Mr.Arun there are finest host I have seen in a restaurant of that size. Self and my friends stayed at Shillong for 4 days and we had almost all meals at MADRAS CAFE. Simply a must place to eat with garunted quality and satisfaction. I thought only its exceptional for South Indian but, the Momos (Veg & NV) was super tasty and ultimate quality. Honestly, I really started to hate the Momos in Delhi and most of other places for poor standard. The team there truly believe and treat their customers as everything. Every one will be 100% satisfied after having food...

Pathetic service... No professionalism... it was my second visit today afternoon for lunch... Qzine stewardess have no idea about hospitality... climbing up the stairs met this lady... who seems to be completely out of her brain ... chewing gutkha while at work.. didn't bother to show us the table... she just finger pointed and sended us to take the table... 1. Our order was delayed 😑 there's was no info, about the order until i' called and asked'em what's the delayed for? Later while dining(having our food) one of their smart stewardess place whole bunch of clearance soiled (Dirty )plates on my table in mid-meal... which ruins our experience and we lost our appetite 😕 😪... calling up the manager... Who either had no clue how to react on the matter after my complaint... he just took off and probably called his staff to talk but neither the manager came nor the stewardess who did such stupid stuff came to apologize 🙄... instead those ladies were simply talking in their local language about us... My special request to the management Pls i' humbly urge you to give your teammates some proper training regarding service FAQ's & Service sequences... Never visiting nor recommending Qzine again...
