Venus Heritage Homestay — Hotel in Rajasthan

We had booked 3 nights at this Air BnB homestay. Reason for rating it average is, 1. We usually like to stay in premium (not luxury) hotels and 2. The few BnB we have stayed in have been exceptionally well appointed and engaging.||Thus this is more of a comparative rating.||Booking experience was smooth. Location is in old town - which is what we wanted, although it's difficult to locate upon arrival. We had the room on 2nd floor, and since the other room wasn't occupied we had the entire floor, terrace and seating area to us. I wish there was also a swing on the terrace. Parking is free on street.||There is a caretaker who cooks, serves, cleans and what not. Just that at times he may not be available on cell.||No complementary meals. My wife fell sick on the last day and thus we avoided eating outside, thus in-house lunch n dinner came handy to ensure light and clean food. But otherwise, taste is quite bland, though 1 plate quantity at INR 250 was more than enough for both of us.||Check-in check-out...

I went to Udaipur with my family and I got touched by the hospitality at Venus Heritage. I had a very homely stay with full privacy having the entire 2nd floor family suite. The place is nearer to the each location, has a parking, a big open space at the entrance, a private corridor, an encient temple, clean bedrooms, a huge spectacular drawing room, a dining area in galary. This is the best place to stay in Udaipur either you are a solo traveller, a couple or with a family. Value for money. And the great part is hospitality. Jayshree aunty and Amma ji welcomes you so warm that you'll love to meet them. We had a good amount of time talking with them and sharing each other's cultures. They are like a family and are still in touch with us. Gopalji is a good obedient volunteer in the property. I'd recommend, must stay there and enjoy the heritage on Udaipur...

Visited Udaipur with my family for the 1st time and stayed there for 2 nights. We really enjoyed our stay as it wasn't like typical hotels and the owner, Joyshree ma'am and the care taker Rahul were very supportive. The rooms are okay. We like the terrace and free space downstairs and overall the vibe of living in a rajput haveli. We'll definitely look forward to stay there if we ever plan for udaipur visit in...
