BSSK Comforts Inn — Hotel in Trichy Corporation Limits

First of all this place is more like our relatives home where we dont expect much expect for few basic amenities and a bed to sleep

So its wrong to compare this place with a proper lodge

PROS:

The hosts are very accommodating and very interactive

The AC and geyser worked fine definitely a safe place and just opposite to Vellai Gopuram

Definitely VFM for AC its just 1100 and for any extra person we need to pay 300 wepaid 1400 for AC room for 3 occupancy (with my 3 yr old kid as fourth)

CONS:

there is a glass ceiling at the roof for every room not sure what is the purpose which allows direct sunlight to the room if you want to take rest in the afternoon it will be hard

One of the women receptionist needs to update here knowledge on how to use a phone as here mobile was having some issues and she doesn’t believed me when i paid in front of here in UPI she asked me to send screenshots to the owners which was really frustrating provided we drived a long way and it waa midnight we were totally wxhausted

Final words : if you seek a place just to halt to take nap (in the night) for few hours without any fancy or modern expectations , and darshan is your priority then you can...

Worst customer service. Deserves zero stars. As soon as we entered, we were asked to pay the full amount of 1400. We reached late night but were asked to leave the next morning though it's written on the board that the amount is for 24 hrs. The rooms had dirty bedspreads. I don't think it was changed. No towels or soaps were provided despite paying a huge amount. Very old bed cots and the ac made a noise. No view from the windows. You can only see the pathway or the opposite room. No proper ventilation. I really didn't like the way that the service people talked, we waited almost 15 minutes to get the bill written down. The woman also asked for extra cash for cleaning the room which I denied stating that nothing was changed the previous day, to which she started shouting and talking as to that it's the best place to stay in Sri rangam and that I don't know the worth of it. Had a chance to stay at this A/C lodge recently and would like to review it. First Pros: Very near to Sri Ranganatha Swamy temple, just 50meters walk from Vellai Gopuram exit. It's proximity to the temple makes it an excellent choice for pilgrims to opt for this. The lodge even though an old property is neat and clean and the room was spacious. Hot water, TV and extra bedding were available. Now the Cons: Even though they say it's A/C lodge, the A/C was not working properly in the room we got(even though it was cooling a bit) and we didn't complain as we had checked in late at night and didn't want to disturb the staff. No basic Toiletries were provided which was a negative point. The rooms are cramped in a narrow corridor and some may not find it comfortable.
