Varanasi by Roadhouse Hostels — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Stayed here for a night in Dec'18. ||||Dorms were clean but terrace and dining area on terrace was littered with cigarette butts. Individual locker boxes are provided for each bed. Toilets are clean and best is to use them early in morning. Someone had a stomach upset and completely soiled the toilets in our dorm. Can't help it since its a shared accommodation. ||||Had booked a bed+breakfast but the hostel manager looked confused when i asked him about breakfast. However, he arranged some veggie sandwiches with tea/coffee. ||||Hostel is located in a narrow lane which connects to a broader road parallel to the ghats. Shared autos/totos ply on this road so traveling to Kashi temple/assi ghat is convenient.||||Overall, it was a very average experience as it is a low...

This hostel is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay, which feels like family & home. The staff is welcoming & very helpful and Ashish the manager will try his best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thanks for all your effort and kindheartedness, I really appreciate.||The rooms are clean & comfortable and you have all the basic facilities provided. There is a huge rooftop which invites to various activities, such as hanging out with friends, doing yoga or simply enjoying the sun and the whole atmosphere.||The hostel is located really close to assi ghat and is surrounded by shops & stores. ||I would highly recommend this hostel for an amazing and unforgetable stay in Varanasi with the best...

Wouldn't go back again.

Arrived and the staff took far too long to find our booking and check us in. We waited around and eventually was shown to our room. We came back around 7 and still no sheets or blankets were on the bed. After asking 4 times at 11pm a sheet was put on our bed, at midnight after complaining again (the staff laughed at this and didn't understand that we wanted a blanket so we could go to sleep) we eventually got a blanket. Around 1/2 in the morning I was woke by a member of staff climbing on my bunk bed to make the bed beside me. After 30 hours traveling this was the last thing I wanted.

The manager was nice to be fair. However the rest of the staff were horrible, really...
