Hotel Vasundhara Palace — Hotel in Uttarakhand

This is the perfect Hotel you want to be in when visiting Rishikesh. Its been more than 10 days we are back from Rishikesh but the memories are still like as fresh as it can be 😊. This hotel is very near to banks of Ganga, it is just 2 mins walking. The point you reach after 2 mins, you would see a very nice view of various Ganga ghats, Janki setu (which is another 1 min walking) & Ram jhula. Staff is very very nice, courteous - be it on the reception or house keeping or room service or that of it's restaurant. Very delicious and lip smacking food (we had opted for both Breakfast and Dinner) We were total of 10 people, had booked 3 rooms on 3rd floor (all thanks to Ms Sapna from OTA EXPERT Consultancy Services and guiding us on Hotel bookings) We had a very happy 3 night stay. Thank you and I am sure to visit this place again. Have rated 5 to all services, location and rooms but could have rated 6 as well (Some improvements- Entrance and the lift area could have been made Sinior citizen friendly, I mean with slope so that wheelchair could lead to the lift; and another - not sure if that is possible, room balconies. Although we didn't feel that it is required but lot many people prefer their room with balconies, no metter even if they fit in with just 2 chairs and a table) Thank you once again and hope to...

I was quite sceptical when my agent booked me this place in Rishikesh. I am always wary of hotels that aren’t known brands like Marriott, Taj or Club Mahindra etc. I was however pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. Tastefully done interiors at the lobby, decent clean rooms that are spacious, well equipped and functioning bathrooms that are clean. The restaurant is good though service and speed can be better. The outside seating of the restaurant actually looked much better than the inside ones but the afternoon heat wasn’t a the greatest of times to do that. I am sure that place must be just brilliant during Winters.

The location of the hotel is perhaps the best…merely 75 mts from the banks of the Ganges. A 3 min walk gets you there. That’s the idea place to be able to go and have a dip at any time, get there on time for the evening Aarti.

The walk to the market place is alarming 5-10 mins and easy to get things you want to buy.

The Vasundhara palace hotel is located at walking distance of Janki Jhula Bridge and the Janki Setu. The hotel is new and well maintained and had a clean spacious look through out. We were a group of 11 people on had a wonderful 2-night stay at Vasundhara Palace. |Rooms are also spacious and clean with all amenities. The toilets and the towels shower facilities were clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and they were very clean and spot less. The room service was very prompt and quick. |We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast is decent and had multiple options. The restaurant had indoor seating as well as open air and food was delicious throughout. |The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. What I really liked is the modern décor and the common areas well kept. Truly a great experience and highly recommended for stay in Rishikesh.
