I stayed at Nishant for 2 months between October and December 2017. Solo female traveller. ||The team was unbelievably welcoming and friendly. They made sure everything was comfortable - anything I needed came right away. They even took me to the hospital when I fell sick.|| Maintenance was fast and thorough. Rooms were spotlessly clean (rare in India!). ||I stayed in both a "simple" room with a double bed and attached shower and then an apartment style room. The apartment (pictured) had a kitchen, double bed, large balcony, and lots of space. It could fit a family with a small child or two.||This guesthouse is best for longer stays. There's no kitchen or restaurant on-site, so guests prepare their own food. It's located off the main road in Tapovan about a ten minute walk from stores. The crowd is mainly families and older individuals who like peace and quiet....
Read moreI stayed here in January, 2020 and it was the worst experience of my life. It was 2 degrees outside and there is no heating and no glass in the bathroom window and poorly fitting windows so the place is beyond freezing. The rooms are not clean by European standards and the bed linen was so bad my face puffed up every morning and the mattresses are thin and old and rest on a piece of hardboard. There was no water in my taps. There are dogs which live in the building which randomly bark all night and no one keeps them quiet. I couldn’t wait to leave....
Read moreWe stayed her for 4 nights April 2019 while touring by motorbike.The garden setting is nice and the room with balcony on the corner was great..Caught the breeze and was a very cool room to sleep in.Hot water was always good . location was ok although quite a fair walk back up from the main bazzar and bridge. On the plus side to this there is no traffic noise at night The only down side to staying here are the hotels dogs which do tend to bark in the evening and early morning as people walk by.Good value for money and clean rooms. Recomended...
