Hotel Vinayak — Hotel in West Bengal

We booked two rooms well in advance over phone. We gave reference of our earlier booking since I usually try to retain all earlier bills of my visits anywhere I go. We were expecting a discount by referring to our earlier booking but the idea didn't quite fly 😜 The only benefit that we reaped was a confirmed booking in their best room of the economy category since it was the rush season of durga pujas. That was indeed a disappointment. We were two couples and checked in pretty late at night hassle free. Room was good but we were disappointed with their service this time. A lobby boy was nowhere to be found and we had to go all the way down to the reception to complain as they won't receive the intercom either, all this for a simple drinking water. Anyway we left the next morning. I understand that services do get hampered during festive seasons but then the owner should think about that well before and arrange accordingly. Hope to get better...

Very bad experience. Management is very bad. The behavior of the staff member is very bad and rude as they make us feel like they have shown mercy on us by allowing us to stay at the hotel. No assistance. They don't even know how to behave with female guests. Maybe the owner don't know about all these.The staff members don't know what all channel's work in the T. V. . They only harrass by asking for id and other details multiple times. Owner should look into the matter. Only having good room is not enough. Good behavior is must. Never would visit to the hotel again. Shayad koi reply...

The hotel is conveniently located on the National Highway 34. It's about a kilometre from rathbari more towards dalkhola. We stayed here for just one night as my in laws wanted to see the tourist spots in and around malda. The hotel itself is pretty impressive from the outside. The reception, lobby are nicely decorated, well coloured and clean. We took an ac room on the first floor. The rooms are a little disappointing. Room was small and bed not comfortable. They have restaurant facility and food was good too....
