Janata Hotel and Restaurant — Hotel in West Bengal

Food at the restaurant is not bad..Above average I would say..tea is really good..apart from that..the stay..the guys behind the reception..the rooms..bad..really really bad..far from professional..they could have made better regular staffs..or probably not even that..Janata is oblivious of the present market..and banks solely on monopoly..the price they offer at the location..the existing communication..makes Janata almost the only choice.. it's almost like Janata has monopoly..thus it is arrogant to ignore the services.. the beauty..the cleanliness of the rooms..Janta still stands because of the location it is situated in.. otherwise..this structure and this kind of staff attitude is a thing of the past..some staffs are friendly..other are rude..and then there are the ones behind the reception desk..they are on a whole different level..no courtesy..no professional attitude..this place would be a disaster had it not been for the...

The hotel is better than it's class. Liked the ambience was excellent. I got room no 409 on top floor. 2 beded attached bath 2 chairs, wordrops, hanger, towel, shop(tiny), tv with cable connection, fan-light everything is functioning and scenario was also present there and a balcony provides an extra pleasent. Thanks to the hotel authority for the ambience only negtive is they don't display any hording at the begining of Nager bazar.... and you have to ask the people for the people.... from dumdum jn there is no hotel available for solo staying. So it should be a better chance to them to make it more popular through displaying a hording at junction to nager bazar...

I didn’t want to give a single star to this hotel but have to for posting my comment and aware the guest who are willing to stay here, very very poor hosting service no maintenance no way of talking & behaviour even they don’t provide water before a specific time, if u need they reply as “are you alive in our complimentary water?” Purchase and drink! This kind of behaviour they do! And super high rate according to the rooms they provide , you have to ask for tv then only they will switch it on otherwise it’s off! Do not visit or make plan to stay here if you’re planning for 1-2day then it’s okay okay or else it’s...
