CaratLane Jewellery Jessore Road, Kolkata — Local services in West Bengal

Most probably, this is my last visit to Caratlane Jessore Road. My experience to this shop is extremely disappointing this time. Generally, I shop from city Centre or or Park Street, Caratlane. Few days back from Dhanteras, I went to Caratlane Jessore Road to buy few Jewellery and a shop person named Barun assisted me to Choose the products, but he was so impatient to complete the billing process that I couldn’t try the jewelleries. After returning home, when I checked, the ring was bit larger, and and next day, when I went to exchange it, the guy Barun misguided me and told if I want to exchange the product, I have to return all the products I bought and the discounts I got at that time that will be not applied, so it is better to keep the ring. As the shop is very near to my home, I myself order the ring and go to the Reception and talk to the lady on the Reception and came to know whatever he said to me is wrong. When he came to know about this, he denied to Exchange , my ring and ask one of his colleagues to do the same. I am very disappointed with this service of them. They don’t know how to handle a customer. It Is very embarrassing to visit a shop again and again after buying something and misguided. Had a terrible experience shopping here few months ago. The staff of this store isn't trained properly to manage customers. I had visited the store by making prior appointment. Even though when I had made prior appointment, I was kept standing for straight 10 minutes without any sales person attending me. Finally when I gave in and requested a sales person to give me a chair to sit because of my back pain issues, the sales person literally put up a bad face and offered me a chair making me feel as if I was at fault for asking a chair. Apart from this the staff is extremely under trained to handle items up for sale. While showing me earrings one of the sales lady dropped a earring screw and made me search for it too while all the other staffs were busy serving others. By their service I felt utterly humiliated and disheartened because I had visited the place by making a prior appointment and wasn't expecting at all any of this nonsense. None other less having said all of this , I must say I am highly satisfied with the product I bought from here and that was the only thing satisfying for me in spite of all this mess I was put...

I didn't have a great experience at the store. When I entered the store I was unattended for straight 5 mins and later the store sales woman said that she missed out seeing me enter the store. All this happened even though I walked in the store with a scehulded appointment. Apart from this this store doesn't have enough seating arrangements for customers and I had to stand throughout the time I was waiting for being attended. When standing for this long was getting unbearable for me due to personal health issues I was forced to request an attending store sales person to give me a chair to sit. Although the sales person was quick enough to lend me his chair but I grabbed some judgemental snares from the elderly co -customers who were being attended by this sales person. This made my shopping experience extremely very uncomfortable.
