I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amenia Dumdum Restaurant and Biryani, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. Located in the Dumdum area, this restaurant offers a range of culinary delights with a focus on biryani. Here is my review of Amenia Dumdum Restaurant and Biryani.

The food is good but the hospitality is very very poor and they have some weird restaurant policy. We had ordered rolls from their Jessore Road branch for home delivery but as they could not deliver before an hour we thought of driving there and picking it up. We drove down but the rolls were not ready though they had promised, if we drove down it would be delivered to us in 5 mins. First they asked for payment and then informed that the roll will take few minutes to be prepared and requested us to take our seat. We sat down and our waiting started, after a good 10mins we were feeling hungry so we ordered a plate of rashmi kebabs and after the kebabs were ordered within 5 mins the rolls got delivered, I had gone with my sister and her two young daughters ( 12 and 8 years ), as the rolls came naturally we started to prepare ourselves to eat them but we were informed that they would not allow us to eat the roll there, we asked for the reason and got the answer that it is the management policy. We argued that we have ordered food so why can't we eat the rolls there, they stick to thete policy and argued. Then they asked us to go outside stand in the heat ( it was 36°) eat the roll if we are hungry then come back to sit inside and have our kebabs...I found it ridiculous. We left without the kebabs because we could not stand in the heat... 1 small advice to Amenia, if you are so rigid you will lose customer, you are an esteem organisation in hospitality management and if you lack the passion towards hospitality then that is very sad. You have to change, bend or adjust depending on the time And situation and if you have a policy then please mention it in bold. All in all very...

This place has the third class service and the people working here are truly a disrespect to the entire Aminia team , they are literally left with 0 humanity . I ordered lunch for my family at 13.40 IST and the order total was INR 952 via SWIGGY . At around 14.20 IST one of the person from the outlet called me regarding an issue in SWIGGY app and mentioned that the order will get cancelled , I will be receiving a call from swiggy for the cancellation and refund. I need to pay the restaurant directly and not to swiggy. I requested tgem to send me a QR code so that I can pay the restaurant for the food I have ordered. At around 15.00 IST I again received a call from the same person. He guided me to cancel the order and repeatedly mentioned the delivery person is on the way and is going to deliver in few minutes. I had to ask him as I was unable to track (order was cancelled) (It takes a maximum of 30 minutes to reach from the restaurant to my house and it was already 1.5 hours since I ordered) .

After all this I have made nearly 30 phone calls to both the delivery person of swiggy and the restaurant AMINIA - DUMDUM OUTLET. They are continuosly hanging up the call and I had no updates for the food which I paid for. And the time right now is 16.56 IST.

THIS IS FOR THEM WHO WISHES TO ORDER FROM THIS OUTLET. ITS A HUMBLE REQUEST , NONE OF THE PERSON WORKING HERE HAVE A BIT OF HUMANITY LEFT IN THEM. If required order from some other outlet , they do not give a shit even if you have paid and not received your food.
