Hotel Rivera — Hotel in Zone 5 Royapuram

Definitely not a pleasant experience this time. Very poor service and worst room facilities.

To be very specific.

1. The bed spreads and towels look like 10 years old.
2. We stayed for 2 days and the rooms were not cleaned when we returned to the room on the 1st day.
3. The beds were not not made and they had not changed the Blankets and towels on the 1st day.
4. In spite of providing the room keys in the reception the service boy said it's your mistake that you didn't ask for room service.

The restaurant was a nightmare

1. One Mr. sitting in the restaurant on the cash counter behaves like a boss. Very rude attitude, when told we have booked the room and even after telling the room number for breakfast he made us go to reception and call him and tell that we have booked a room and request to serve breakfast. He didn't even bother to call the reception himself.

2. They said breakfast will be ready by 7:30am, we were around 18 members from same company were at the restaurant by 7:30 since our buses will leave by 8:00 and only idli sambar and dose was available.

3. Very few options were served for breakfast and the taste was average. I guess they use baking soda as we had bloating...

It was a home away from home. The staff ensured our stay a very comfortable one. On 12th March the life was out of order, the reception staff ensured that we had absolutely no difficulty in coming down from the fourth floor. The whole staff of the hotel and the restaurant were very caring, kind and polite. The only concern was the monotony of the breakfast. All Though the breakfast was hot and delicious but the menu happened to be same on the roof days that we stayed. Overall a very beautiful and a lovely place which ensures the comfort. We went there for quick breakfast on our way to Hospital. All they have are combos and the waiter said, we can Order food seperately from combos if we want. So we ordered what we want. But while paying the bill, they charged for 2 combo breakfast and not for the ones we just ordered. And there is only one waiter serving 6 tables that too in busy hours which adds up more waiting time. However...
