Kapsstone Service Apartment — Hotel in Zone 9 Teynampet

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE-

Please don't book your stay at Kappstone Service Apartment, Pycroft Garden,Chennai,if you want not to be cheated or harassed by the owner. At the end of your stay, you will be harassed by the owner as happened with us and others who stayed there at the same time.

The owner has simply no business ethics.

Just a couple of days before this happened with us - We extended our stay at Kapsstone for 6 hours till 6.00pm evening of 19/10/24 by paying the owner  Rs.200 per hour i.e. Rs. 1200 in advance as per his communication on  18th evening through UPI and extended stay there till 6.00pm of 19/10/24.

We had earlier booked the room till 12.00 afternoon check-out time of 19/10/24 through Make My Trip.

However, exactly at 11. 58am of 19/10/24,when we were out, he called us to say that we've to vacate the room as someone else has booked it.

When we told that how is it possible when we have already paid advance, he insisted that he will shift our belongings to another room in our absence as the other party has already reached. We were aghast at his unpredictable behaviour.

How could he book the room for two separate guests in the same room for the same time and how could he shift our belongings in our absence without our permission.

He could have informed us at the very same time we requested for extension that rooms are not available and we could have easily shifted to another homestay as there are lots of nearby options available.

But clearly he wanted to earn profit from us as well as those people from Calcutta who had already booked in advance the room we stayed in.( Those poor guests had waited for 4 hrs after a long journey from West Bengal).Means, in his full knowledge and understanding the owner had booked one room for two different families, because he is after profit only.

When we returned at 4.00pm from outside we had to shift our belongings to a room(a  dingy room in the same building) which he had arranged for us, though we could have stayed in the same room till 6pm of 19/10/24.

Not only this, they didn't provide even a complimentary bottle of water,neither any electric kettle during our 7 days stay there as claimed in their  list of facilities in Make My Trip website.

Usage of gas and washing machine charge is not clearly mentioned and    in the end of your stay you are charged as per the whims of the owner.

We ignored the bad reviews earlier mentioned about this homestay and suffered from mental and physical agony.

Please don't choose this homestay at all.

The owner is fooling everyone.If there was negative rating option, we would have given...

This is a scam and a false posting. The owner is the biggessttt scam artist in the world. All fake reviews. I would give a ZERO if I could. The living room has no ac, and the first night 2 of the 3 rooms AC’s were not working. We asked for a refund, and the owner promised us that he will get them fixed and install a brand new unit in the living room. Nothing was installed in the living room. Pictures are all taken in angles that show the place is bigger than it actually is. Also, one one night, the apartment lost power, and the inverter didn’t come on, showing “Low Battery”. Even the guy employed by the owner admitted that he told the owner about it, and was shrugged off....
