Read moreWe loved our stay here. |The location is brilliant - right in the middle of the village, lots to eat, drink and do nearby. 10-min walk to the beach, and 5 minutes from the harbour. |The rooms are cleaned spotless every day by the brilliant staff - they are super friendly and the hotel has a real family feel to it. The laundry service is well-priced, and one member of staff took great care every morning to make me beautiful cappuccino art!|It was excellent value in terms of price per night. |The pool is perfect - usually quiet while people are out snorkelling etc. |Breakfast was small ish in portion but tasty. |There isn’t loads of storage/space in the bungalows so do consider leaving your luggage in storage by the port you’re coming to gili air from and bring bags only - this worked well for us and is generally a good idea when visiting the gili islands as there are no cars and there are weight limitations on the boats. |There are 12 bungalows. If you are a light sleeper, ask for room number 6 or 7 (or just one near the back of the hotel), as this will be furthest from the road and reception and therefore quieter. |The air con and wifi could’ve been a bit stronger, but it did the job/wasn’t of massive concern to us. |As others say, there is a mosque nearby and the prayer can be heard every morning before sunrise. I am a very light sleeper and so was woken by this, but my husband slept through (and they do provide ear plugs). It’s a small island anyway so I expect the prayer can be heard from most places. |Places to eat/drink nearby: Mowie’s (sunset drinks), Melan La Vie (newly opened French restaurant next door. Great cocktails and good steak), ruby’s cafe (great beef rendang), cheeky monkey bar (party nights on Tuesdays and decent cocktails). |Huge thanks to the lovely staff at Jago for...
