Warung Mexicana — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Such delicious food and the owner/chef is so lovely!! They have an amazing mix of Mexican and Indonesia as well as a huge vegan/veggie selection (while still being super cheap). I have eaten here 4 times now and got the Vegan Mexican Wrap all those times because the homemade salsa is so good. My mum also had the Vegan Lebanese Wrap which was her favourite, as well as the falafel burrito. We both love the falafel, it’s so yummy! You can tell it’s all freshly homemade (the sauces, falafel, chips, tortilla wraps etc all of it). The chips are a mix of normal and sweet potato which is really nice. I am going to miss this place! The owner is really lovely always has a smile on his face and often you can hear him singing from the kitchen. Highly recommend...

Absolutely can’t agree with the previous ratings. I don’t understand them…

For like 20 min we were the only guests. Our order took quiet a while. We had the Falafel with hummus, fries and salsa. The hummus was something else, absolutely no hummus like taste. The falafel didn’t taste like anything. The fries were okay, but not ,,good“ as people say.

We continued with red bean&hummus wrap. Same taste - almost like nothing. The Lebanese wrap had a pinch of taste. The hunger made it all work.

We are on Bali and Gili Air for 2 weeks now. This was our worst Warung experience so far (sadly).

Me and my partner visited this restaurant during our stay on Gili Air, after one day of eating here we ended up eating here twice a day for the next 4 days. Not only is the food absolutely delicious the service is impeccable. Being vegetarian and vegan the food has so much flavour and offered a great variety of tasty burritos, wraps and burgers! They also offer free water to all customers which is a lovely touch. Can’t express enough how lovely the owners of this place are, always so welcoming and didn’t mind chatting to us about our days.
