Not terrible, but not great. We’ve stayed in 4 different 4* hotels during our holiday in Indonesia and this was the worst by far. The hotel has so much potential and you can see when it was first built it was probably fantastic, but it seems as though it’s been left alone since it was built.|The positives are that price was good and the pool is lovely.|However this is where it ends, the TV doesn’t work at all unless you have a laptop to plug into it, we were sold the room online with ‘free bike rental’ however on arrival they said they didn’t do this, there were brown stains all over the walls in the bungalows, there were purple??? Stains all over the bed sheets, and the room wasn’t cleaned once by the staff during our 4 night stay as they informed us on our last night that they didn’t have a spare key to get in to clean… what happens if somebody loses their key? Or locks it into the room by accident…|The staff seemed more bothered about sitting and playing mobile games in the corner.|The shower is ran by a separate water heater which gives you literally 2 minutes of hot water, so I had to wait for it to heat back up before I could get in after my partner...
Read moreMe and partner have just returned from staying on the Gili Islands, which I would recommend to anyone! Gilione was a central location, it’s about a 10 minute walk from the harbour and is on a street just off the Main Street/ beach. The rooms are very cute, they have aircon and TV with Netflix and a selection of films. The shower is outside but is well secluded so your not being over looked. The pool is lovely, there is a hot tub too, it has a very chilled vibe to it, and was lovely to come back to when you have been out exploring all day! The staff are very friendly and will help anyway they can. The resort offers free bike hire which is a must do, it’s a great way of getting about and seeing the island. The breakfast was ok, there was a varied selection available. All in all this was a lovely relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle which can been seen on Gili T. The price is very good and more than reasonable, I will be most definitely returning to here next...
Read moreAs soon as you walk in it feels like a home away from home, everyone that works there are awesome. Probably the nicest most genuine people we’ve met in any country we’ve travelled too. Everyone says hello and asks how you are and everyone says goodnight and they provide excellent service on top of that. Food is nice and reasonably priced as well as the drinks, bungalow style rooms, clean and a good size, bed is comfortable, the pool is a perfect temperature and there is enough sun beds provided as there are only about 12 rooms. Bean bags outside your bungalow, you get free bikes for the duration of your stay and if you are lucky enough you might meet lime the pet rabbit who may join you on the bean bags. The hotel is a five minute walk or 2 minute bike ride to the beach and Main Street which is excellent as it’s quite but still very close to everything. I can’t say enough nice things about the people that work there, they made the stay that...
