Special shout out to Ariel and Adele, they were great. They constantly had big smiles and Green d'mel are so lucky to have the two of them. They made our stay so special and rememerable.
All staff were accommodating and friendly We ate dinner at restaurant several times, generous menu and all meals were delicious. The "mix satay" was yum! Breakfast is included - which was great considering low price Rooms are exactly as pictured, as are the grounds The grounds keeper does a great job Travel companions stayed in the "Suite with Pool View" room, and the "Double Room with Garden View", while I had the "Twin Room with Balcony". So it was great to see all the rooms. All room types are very close to the pool The pool was lovely. Never too busy, many comfortable lounge chairs and the pool towels are provided Smart TVs in bedroom, so you can log into your own Netflix, YouTube accounts ect Very small homestay (20 rooms) but perfect, and exactly how others have described it as a hidden gem.
Only request - I would love to see more powerful hair dryers in the bathrooms. They are small travel size with little power
Would I recommend? Absolutely yes!
We stayed for 5 nights, and would happily stay for longer. Great place to stay to experience Nusa Dua/Benoa - expecially if you don't like the big resort vibes, and for the price it's really a no brainer.
Short drive to Bali Collection (overpriced market stalls), and surf shops ect with Australian prices, but great restaurants. Comes alive at 5/6pm with DJs and entertainment at certain restaurants Short walk (4min) to a air conditioning and honest money exchange Short walk (4min) to "Bagus Mini Mart". It has everything you need. Prices are fixed and not badly priced. Baskets available. Cheaper than Bali Collection, and have almost everything 1st floor - alcohol, snacks, groceries, bags, jewellery 2nd floor - women's and children clothing, sunglasses, 3rd floor - men's and more childrens...
Read moreGood value accommodation. The gardens and grounds are immaculently maintained. Clean rooms with a good size shower and bathroom. I found the queen (maybe king) size bed comfy, but my wife felt the mattress was to hard.
Good size and clean swimming pool. Staff (especially Adelle on reception) were friendly and helpful. They organised a motorbike to be delivered for us and can pretty much organise anything else you may need in terms of drivers and activities.
They have a partially covered spa area adjacent to the pool if you would like a massage (about $15 AUD for 1 hr).
Breakfast was included and you can choose from three different options, or you can pay for some additional options. I had the American Breakfast, which had some fresh fruit, eggs done your way with toast, tomato, chicken sausages juice, coffee. I found it quite adequate.
The complex is located down a long ally off a main street. There are plenty of restaurants, spas and money changers nearby..BE CAREFUL with the back ally independent money changers! They will advertise a better rate to draw you in, but with remarkable skill will siphon some of the local currency away right under your eyes!!! We were ripped off $400,000 rp ($40 AUD) but realised it quickly after leaving and went back and surprisingly he gave it back...
Read moreWe reserved room on booking for 3 people. When we arrived the personal of hotel told us that this room intended only for 2, and that's why we also will have breakfasts only for 2 people and not for 3 (our room was booked with breakfast included). After long discussion with personal and owner of the hotel (the personal was speaking with him through text messages) they gave us 1 extra breakfast (despite the fact that our reservation was for 3 adults, and in their system it was shown). They saw our reservation for 3 adults, but it still were 2 bottles of water, 2 towels, 2 dental kits in our room. (We were travelling around Bali for weeks, and it was the first time when the room reserved for 3 was actually arranged for 2 people). It was no cleaning during all 3 days we were staying there, and every day we had to ask for new bottles of water, although the personal told us during check in that we will get water every day.
During our trip we were staying in a lot of hotels in Bali, some of them were very small, some were family business, some had only 1 star, and in each of them we were treated amazing. We always had 3 towels, 3 bottle of water, 3 cups for coffee/tea and only in this "luxury" hotel we had such negative...
