This was one of the most memorable experiences in our life. This was a Sunday brunch. This is well worth spent money, even if you can think is a little bit pricy for Bali. We arrived at 11:00 and left at around 17:00(exact hours for lunch). We paid around 1.6 mil for two people. (No alcohol included, although we could order one non alcoholic cocktail from the menu as included in the Sunday brunch price). It was very good. The juices, water, regular coffee and tea are included in the price. Free flow as well I made a reservation upfront (10 days before) and it included also a sunbed for 2 people with towels for no charge (ask for it). So, we could eat all we want, and then got to the sunbed with a swimming pool, relax and come back later for another food sitting. Last order was at 16:00. Food: amazing taste, fresh ingredients, such well suited flavours. Compliments to the chefs! It is free flow of food. You can order as much as you want and it is possible to try every thing in the menu because the portions are not full size portions but rather twice smaller than the normal. We came back home so full we could hardly breath. (We wanted to try as much as we could).Every dish was amazing. The seafood platter in the beginning was just the start, it was followed by so many interesting food combinations later on. The desserts are called 7 sins, and oh my goodness each of them was divine. Service: the staff is amazing, they inform you upfront how the ordering of the food is done, very attentive and always smiling. Not sure what is better, food or service. Thank you so much for this amazing day! The staff also asks about food allergies, they have vegetarian options for starters, mains and desserts (believe me it is enough and hardly enough space in your belly to try them all). Little ocean breeze in the restaurant. Ocean view. Clean showers and bathrooms, staff takes an amazing care of the place. Clean swimming pool, water is served when relaxing on your sunbed. It is the best way to spend the last day in Bali. 100% worth experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sundara, and I have to say, it was an experience like no other. Unfortunately, I fell ill with Bali belly (NOT FROM THEIR FOOD, I ate out at another restaurant before comping here) during my stay, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. From the moment I informed them of my illness, they were incredibly helpful and attentive. They made sure that I had everything I needed to feel better, from offering to preparing special meals that were gentle on my stomach. The service at Sundara is truly beyond words. The staff are unbelievably helpful and go out of their way to make sure that every guest feels comfortable and taken care of. They are always available to assist with anything you may need, from arranging transportation to recommending local activities and attractions. In addition to the incredible service, the pool and food at Sundara are absolutely incredible. The pool is stunning and the perfect place to relax and unwind, while the food is some of the best I've ever had. Every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, I cannot recommend Sundara enough. The staff are some of the most helpful and attentive I've ever encountered, and they truly made my day stay unforgettable once again. If you're looking for a luxury experience with exceptional service, Sundara is the place to be. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so incredible.

Mixed experience. Started really bad, good recovery, yet some fundamentals remain off. It’s on the owner or management. Started with easily the most unthinking staff in Bali. We intended to come for a birthday event. We wanted to bring our own cake, we were informed that there’s a corkage fee for cake of IDR 350 k and that Sundara have their own cake. Ok, we respect their rules. We come without a cake, we want to order a cake, Sundara staff told us we should order their cake a day before. F a c e p a l m. Who makes this kind of conflicting policies? Most likely not the staff. The team that serviced our table seem to realized that it’s not turning out to be a good experience and took the initiative to recover. Their table service is excellent, best, I feel sad that they are working here instead of much better establishment. They offered to make off menu cake, higher price, but great gesture. They then arrange for a birthday cake delivery that just pleases the birthday lady, excellent recovery. I hope these people found much better employment. Because the restaurant itself is quite off in terms of pricing. A grill snapper cost ~200 k, yet it doesn’t show anything more special than what menega would serve down the road. The pork ribs’s length and width are both 1/2 of a full rack at nuri’s. Only the lamb chop is ok sized. We spent 2,3 mn for 6 adults and 2 kids, no alcohol. Toilet is clean Parking available on site Afternoon views are magnificent

Sunday Brunch at Sundara beach club is rather different to many of the other 5 star resort brunches is Bali. Food and beverages where dissapointing. For the price of 800000 IDR there was huge restrictions on what was allowed to be consumed. Chilled seafood is one small platter per group, it had one very small crayfish, 2 prawns and a crab. This is the only chilled seafood allowed per group the alacart menu while I did enjoy some of the dishes the selection was extremely small as where the servings. For the non alcohol package you only had 2 types of juice to select from and one mocktail per person only. The highlight of the meal was dessert which was very nice. For comparison with places like W resort or the Mulia Resorts brunch The four seasons Sundara brunch is far behind on the food and beverage and leaves you slightly dissatisfied. For the facilities they exceed in expectation. We loved the pool and private Cabana that was included in the brunch price. The kids club was fantastic and the indoor bar with aircond was a great escape from the high temperatures. The toilets are clean and tidy. The beach was also wonderful and the kids liked playing in the sand and catching crabs before returning to the pool to swim. Overall this is a great beach club though I do not recommend the Sunday brunch as there are much better options in Bali the beach club its self is well worth a visit.

The ambient of this place is really nice, especially for those who love spending time with privacy and comfort. Yet when I was there , I did not feel comfortable with the service. I arrived first and ordered sunday brunch package, then my friend arrived, right after she seat next to me, this senior lady staff right away ask question to my friend "do you want to also order Sunday Brunch?" We answer by asking Menu both a la carte and the Sunday Brunch. The staff only gives us the Sunday Brunch menu, again I ask a la carte, it takes some time to bring us an a la carte menu. After sometime, my friend still confused what to order, then she decided want to smell my Sunday Brunch package that mostly seafood before she decided want to have it or other option. She grabbed one of the plate bring it close to her face , and suddenly the lady staff watching us like eagle and scolded us "it is not for share,would you like to order Sunday Brunch?" She scolded with extra tone and make the table in front of us, kinda looking at us and checking what's going on. I never...ever....felt humiliated like this before, so does my friend.I was so upset till my stomach hurt. What is the deal with Sunday Brunch???! Or is it a different SOP for local residents? In the end, we just ordered sunday brunch (for me) and a mocktail, then off from this place as soon as possible.

We were searching for a beach club after we discovered that the one we used to visit (Nikki Beach@Sofitel Nusa Dua) has closed down. Sundara is one of the few hotels which still allow outside guests to use the lounge chairs and beds. Many do not allow outside guests now even with a minimum spend. Sundara requires one to spend a minimum of 1.2mil IDR (this is as at April 2018) to use the daybeds and about 1.75mil IDR for the Cabanas. So, we went to Sundara twice during our stay in Bali. The first time, we used the daybed. And boy, was it hot in there during the day. The sun belts down directly and as it's enclosed on the back, top and sides, it is like a sauna in there. We ended up slipping into the pool right in front of the daybeds multiple times just to cool off. The pool is good for laps since it's a simple long rectangular pool and not in some odd shape. The second time we were at Sundara, we decided to use the Cabana. It was definitely much cooler with ventilation. The cabana we used was further from the pool but a little more private and more comfortable. Definitely spacious for two. Service at Sundara is excellent. You get refills of water and staff checking if you need anything. I recommend walking down to the beach during low tide and taking a dip a cool off. And of course, Jimbaran known for its sunsets, do stay for the sunset.
