As the rate of 17$/night through airbnb, in general, i would expect more accommodation quality and services. It was very basic. There was almost no interaction with the host, so it should not a expected homestay as described. But probably because of the Silence day (Baliese new year), so, i accepted it. But i had not have been able to imagine that this place has turnt our trip upside down. I will never want to visit Bali again due to this horrible sleeping experience. When I checked in, the host seemed surprised, and the room had not been prepared. Bed linen had bad smell of accumulated sweats. There were no towels. So i had to have them change linen and provide towels. But the worst thing still awaited me. After dinner, i came back to rest. And itchy bites started to show up. Firstly i assumed them mosquito's and ignored that matter. But only a few hours, many more bites came uninvited. Every 3 reddish swollen and itchy,of course, bites in a row, or a triangle line appeared. Obviously they were BED BUGSSS. I emailed Juni for notification and looking for help. But she didn't believe me at all until i took photos of our body fully covered with hundreds of bed bug bites. So that very first night, i could not sleep at all. So 7 hours after my email of bed bugs notice, with extra emails to push her, thanked god, i was changed to new room, smaller but bed bug free. I had many reasons to be angry. And this was it. They could have had provided the clean available room. Why they didnt do that? I was physically and mentally exhausted. But no one of them cared , even bothered to ask if i was alright or needed any treatment because they only worried about my future reviews would damage their reputation. As i stayed totally 2 nights, they already were given an opportunity to show any improvement, but nothing changed. Next guests should know all goods and bads.    Read moreI stayed in Puri Agung with 3 friends of mine for 3 nights. We have chosen this hostel because it was the cheapest (and good looking) we found on arrival.||||The hostel is located in a small backyard thus the rooms are very quiet. Our rooms were simple but we had everything what we needed. A comfortable (big!) bed, space to store your stuff and hooks in the bathroom and at the entrance door. Our highlight was the warm shower and the european toilet which we missed for more than 2 weeks. The breakfast was very simple, too, but apart from this very good. The only negative point I want to mention is that we had no basin in our bathroom. So for us it was totally ok but I think for some it is not.||||We have also rented motorbikes at this hostel and I would highly recommend to check them before paying because we did not and they were in a really bad condition (e.g. brakes did not really operate, lights were broken).||||After our stay in Kuta we travelled to Ubud and we have booked our transport to Ubud also in the hostel. This went very well!||||So in total the hostel is a really good choice for a budget stay in Kuta, especially because of the perfect location (5 min to the beach, 2 min to main street with all shops, bars, discos), the clean rooms and the incredible low price.||||If you decide to stay in this hostel or anywhere nearby you HAVE to go at least once to the warung opposite to the hostel (when you leave the hostel turn right and then it is a cute warung with wooden furniture and orange walls).    Read moreVery bad staff and bad manager ,,, first night stayed their had 3 people sleep in one room ,, didnt know we were not aware of the rules , the manager yelled at me and my mother and threatin us with his boss ,, the day i arrived , the manager didnt have a friendly smile and threw the key downstairs and almost hit the young staffs head ,,, we lefted after one day , keep the key so we didnt waste our money ,, spoke to us so bad ,, when we return the key they made up a lie saying my mum threw the key in the staffs face and their gonna report my mum to the police. Staff cannot treat guest like that ,, if they dont like somthing they can tell people nicely ,, but instead they threatin us and yelled at us. I wrote a review on facebook and they deleted it. They lie and said my mum threw the key in the face ,, thats not right ,, the owner and manager cannot treat people like that. My poor mum is scared to go to jail over a lie they made ,, they need to change their attuide...
