We came here for a sunset drink, but the atmosphere was so nice that we decided to stay and have dinner. It was pretty disappointing. I got the lasagne while my girlfriend got the veggie burger. She thought the veggie burger was quite good, but did ask for ketchup to add to it to make it less dry. However, the lasagne for me was very very average and also very small. It did not taste great or in any way Italian. I do like a lasagne, and this is the worst I’ve had in a while. We got a couple of beers and cocktails to drink. The service was hot and cold. The waitresses were sometimes attentive, sometimes not. E.g. I asked for ketchup for the fries three times. It was not so busy. The final part that is quite annoying is(O’Hanas is not the only place that does it here) is the food is already expensive relative to other places in the town, as O’Hanas was one of the original spots here and has the name. However, they don’t include government tax in the price. Service charge being added after is one thing, but not adding the tax too is unnecessarily American, and hike most tourists here are European or Aussies. Then, if you want to pay card, like most people do, another 3% on top of the cost. Many places do not charge that here, such as convenience stores (which by default have many small transactions by card), so it is definitely not necessary and is more ripping off of tourists. If smaller places don’t add the card charge, this big place can surely do it too and not blame the banks. For example, a lovely Indian restaurant we went to the night before (Curry Traders) do not charge extra for card payment. This should be reviewed by management. Really didn’t like that.

One of the greatest choices in Lembongan. This is a very nice resort managed by a dedicated team who think of every little detail. As they put it, the idea was to offer travelers a comfortable experience without the typical feel of a big resort. The place is both "beach club" and resort, but in true Lembongan fashion, it maintains a laid-back vibe. If you're looking to just chill, you'll still be quite comfortable. It's located on Jungutbatu, which is the main beach and where most restos and shops are. What's great is that the beach club facilities are free to guests (as opposed to a small minimum charge for the bed and towel rent fees). Whether it's the 4 people bed, the beachfront loungers or the umbrellas on directly on the beach, it was easy picking a spot. The service is top-notch with a large and attentive staff. The drinks were also very good. The room area feels secluded from the beach club, despite being very conveniently near the beach and everything else. Plus, there's a separate swimming pool at the back exclusive for guest, although I found myself spending most of my time at the beach club. The rooms are generously sized, very clean, and nicely decorated. The bathroom and shower are also grea. The AC and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly throughout my stay. After you checked out, they'll coordinate with your boat pick up to make everything go smooth. They even offer a drink by the main road as you wait for your transfer. I would definitely come back. It really shows the care and attentions the owners put into everything.

Surprisingly this hotel was the most expensive out of all our stays throughout Bali/the islands but we spend the fewest amount of nights here. We understand that Nusa is a developing island as highlighted throughout their website but we did find the bathrooms in the bedrooms needed work. The pool/bar area is nice. We found the payment situation odd, you are required to pay after each meal/drink, which we don’t mind doing but for guests at the hotel it might be simpler to pay by the end of each day - we felt like the trust wasn’t there. The location is great. Specifically want to say thank you to Stephen and Mabo, they ensured we were looked after throughout. Also Basa the taxi driver (I have posted a separate review on his own page) is an absolute asset. I booked a Penida day trip via reception, I probably could have gone elsewhere but trusted the hotel and whilst the actual day out was good, I’m unsure if this was actually booked via the hotel as we paid more than the amount listed on the Ohana’s website - although not much, the prices need updating. There also wasn’t a lot in terms of what to expect, we were picked up via truck (we thought the excursion would be with someone from the hotel), taken to a boat yard, basically boarded on a random fishing boat and then taken via car to the locations, when we returned we were picked up by bikes, however we booked as a couple and at least expected to return as a couple - not separately.

AC broken in living area. AC in bedroom dripping on us. Attempts to fix failed. No offer to switch rooms. Constant offers to fix things at 10pm at night or while we are showering. Woke our 11m baby trying to fix. Floors filthy! Staff just say sorry but no substance.

Multiple attempts to charge us for things at the bar which other rooms had used as they never get room numbers right. They never communicated with us regarding charges but talk to each other while leaving us standing there. Tried to charge me twice for taxi despite us havint paid the driver. Sofas in living room awful. Not comfy. Rug is a trip hazard. 4th hotel we stayed in in Bali... Every hotel provided mozzy plug in/sprayed rooms in evening. Here they said buy from the bar!

We had an awful 2 nights sleep with a baby crying lots due to heat

We have screenshots of reporting all issues to their WhatsApp number from mine and husbands phones

Ps read the t&cs when you arrive.... Mentions knocking on your door for any noise including children (eg baby crying!) and paying for towels/linen stained with sun protection products! Never seen this in a hotel

We would not recommend this place nor come back. Offered us a poxy cocktail to say sorry. Declined late check out initially when we said by an hour so we can breastfeed the baby. When I reminded them of the issues they kindly allowed us to stay an hour.

editted to add.... Visibly disgusting baby chair. We were given on and was black stains all over. Tried to clean with antibac wipes and wipes were black we didn't put baby in. The waiter gave us an alternative which was better but still black. Similar dirt when wiped the floor in our room when we spilt soemthing... Black! I refused to walk bare foot (we leave outdoor shoes by door)... No slippers provided here! Similar stains to most sun beds and loungers.

Pretty no frills hotel trying pretend to be fancy.

ADDED POST OHANA REPLY.... What is the point in contacting you now we have left? We both tried various times via the WhatsApp. Despite our concerns regarding billing.... You still tried to charge for something I paid for and still nothing was fixed! Unless you will provide a refund I am not sure what you will do as I shall not be...

A Slice of Paradise at Ohana’s! 🌴🌊

From the moment we arrived at Ohana’s, we knew we were somewhere special. Nestled right on the beach with stunning views and golden sunsets, the resort itself is beautiful – but what truly sets this place apart is the unmatched vibe created by the staff.

Every meal was a delight, with fresh, vibrant dishes and delicious cocktails that hit just right. But above all, it’s the people who made our stay unforgettable. The team at Ohana’s go above and beyond to make you feel not just like a guest, but like family.

A huge shoutout to Occy and Amar – absolute legends. Both of them went out of their way every single day to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and having the best time possible. Their energy, warmth, and genuine care are rare and honestly made our entire experience. I feel like I’ve made two new friends, and I’ll definitely be back to see them when I return to Bali. Amar is not only an exceptional team member but a very special human being. He made a massive effort throughout our stay to ensure we were looked after, always with kindness and sincerity. Getting to know him on a personal level was a true privilege. His story is inspiring, and his presence left a deep impression on me. The world needs more people like Amar – compassionate, hardworking, and full of heart.

Both of them deserve recognition and promotion – they are the kind of people who don’t just do a job, they create an experience.

If anyone deserves a promotion, it’s these two!

Can’t recommend Ohana’s enough – the location is perfect, the food and drinks are top-notch, but it’s the people that will have you coming back again and again. Thank...
