(review changed) Good morning. I am writing this review to you at 08:05 in the morning, as I regularly wake up right on schedule from the sounds of a hammer. You can ask the builders not to start the day with a hammer, I might start mixing sand, cement and stuff. I also want to draw your attention to the fact that when booking, you said that the construction was going on for a COUPLE OF HOURS at the time agreed with you. I have all the necessary photos of your letters, I can provide you if necessary. Construction starts at 08:00 and until 20:00. If you could tell us this timing, we would find another place to live and get as much sleep as we wanted.
(First review) Respected management. We know that the construction in the neighboring building starts at the time you specified. But, it would be very nice if they did not start hitting hammers at exactly 08:00. People are still sleeping. It's very tough. The windows in your villas let in any sound. And you wake up scared because of sounds. You pay for villa 2000$ in mount and you really can’t enough sleep. You should do 50% discounts for this...

Rooms are big, loft style and with kitchen facilities so that’s a big plus point for those that want to make their own meals. Filtered water available.
Service staff are not located onsite but contactable via WhatsApp. Staff were very responsive whenever we texted them. We had some problems with drainage, the sink and toilet seemed to be choked and we had someone come in twice to fix it. It was resolved quickly but you do need to expect some lead time to get it fixed.
The village is located within a small alley and there was construction going on opposite. Sometimes you can see the construction workers from your bathroom window so I always kept the window closed when showering. We didn’t have problems calling a go jek but sometimes riders took awhile to find the place.
It’s not a bad place to stay but maybe I’ll wait till the nearby construction is completed before...
Read morePlus points: 1/ Reasonably priced I guess. You’re just paying for the room 2/ great location, walking distance to places to eat in Berawa and if you’d like to venture out a bit and don’t have a moped you can hop on the free Finns-Grab shuttle just outside 7islands cafe which is super nearby 3/ no one is really there except for a security guy
Cons: 1/ it’s great if you’re not fussy about cleanliness, hair and pubes from previous guests were on the bathroom floor, hanging off the shower head. Toilet bowl isn’t scrubbed down 2/ shower water smells putrid, so we ended up just using the rain shower On these two things, I ended up having to inform the staff to please clean the room it but ended up giving up as it was still there.. 3/...
