Berawa Nest — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I stayed at Downtown Canggu studios for two weeks. The location is ok, the rooms are not worth the money. My studio had several critical points you definitely dont want to have when staying in Canggu:

Construction side next door. They work from morning til evening, even on saturdays. Musky fouly smell coming from the bathroom. This has been raised several times with the Host but instead of allocating one of the non-occupied studios (they are never fully booked!) I was told that It has been taken care of. Which was not the case. Bed Bugs!!! I got bitten by bed bugs on several nights. Also this has been denied by the host. NO solution was offered apart from "proper cleaning". The host itself, BRIO is not the typical bali standard you would expect. He did not show any empathy when it came to the above mentioned points. All he did was offering me a place at a different area with a brutal price pick-up. I belive that this setup works pretty well for him.

I would love to write more positively about this...

Stay disini 3D2N. Random aja pilih dari Airbnb. Harga around $35.

Experience selama stay di sini bener2 diluar dugaan banget. Karena awalnya mikir Villa di Canggu dg harga segitu ga akan terlalu bagus, ternyata banyak bgt poin Plus nya: Lokasi dan akses ke Villa nya saya pikir akan susah (masuk gang sempit dan ke jauh ke dalam gang) tp ternyata ga. Walaupun memang utk parkir mobil tidak ada (jika bawa mobil harus parkir di luar gang tp saya yakin aman krn di area pemukiman bukan jalan raya) tapi tetap mobil bisa masuk sampai depan Villa jadi untuk yg bawa koper dan naik taxi bisa tetap turun depan Villa. Area parkir sharing tersedia untuk motor. Cukup 5 motor. Lokasi deket banget dari mana2. Ke pantai berawa, Finss club, Atlas ga sampai 6 menit naik motor. Milk and madu jalan kaki 2 menit dan masih banyak resto terkenal lainnya yg deket bgt bisa dg jalan kaki. Staff nya SUPER RAMAH (Bli Putu, klo ga salah) again walaupun saya tamu domestik staf nya ramah bgt. Datang jam 12 bawa koper gede niat nya cm mau nitip koper aja karena waktu check in di airbnb tertulis 14.00. Tp ternyata sudah di perbolehkan utk check in. Dapat kamar deket dg kolam dan area pantry. Kamar nya sih diluar dugaan bgt dipikir akan kecil tapi salah, kamar nya besar bgt. King size bed, semua furnitur baru dan bersih, seprai nya bersih wangi, tersedia lemari yg cukup besar, kamar mandi juga besar sekali dan bersih bgt (tersedia sabun dan shampo) air panasnya ga sampai 2 detik langsung panas. Area pantry tersedia kompor gas dam peralatan masak lainnya seperti pan dan piring. Air galon selalu terisi penuh utk reffil minu. Kolam renang area juga bersih dan enak banget untuk santai disini. Airnya bersih juga dan waktu stay disini kamar nya full tp gada yg renang jadi berasa private pool. Yg paling diluar ekspektasi saya adalah Handuk. Untuk Villa dg rate $35 sangat bagus dan bersih(handuk yg tebal dan besar seperti hotelBintang 5) dan handuk untuk renang nya juga di sediakan terpisah dan sama tebal nya. Top banget sih.

Minusnya cuma gada TV. Tp ini minor sih krena selama di Bali siapa sih yg selalu stay di kamar? Overall selama stay disini gada keluhan sm sekali, dan jelas akan balik stay disini lg untuk area...

We booked this place via Airbnb. Unfortunately we had issues with Worms and other Bugs in our Studio and have therefore tried to cancel the trip. Brio, the host on AirBnb, was very unfriendly and didnt seem to be interest in a solution at all. Eventually they tried to kill the bugs and worms but without success. We left the place and qhere promised 100% refund, however we only got a 66% in the end. Apart from this there is a major construction site next...
