Larose Villas and Boutique Camp — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I booked through Expedia which showed the property located 40m from the beach. When I arrived it was 700m from the beach which was no good for me as I have trouble with my foot and can’t walk far. I requested a refund but it was not forthcoming despite the obvious misrepresentation. Very disappointing from both the property and Expedia.

Edit: In response to owner - I understand your property is listed at the correct address on Google Maps, but I booked through Expedia and your property is shown in the wrong location on the Expedia Map - that is the issue. I have booked dozens of hotels through Expedia and all have been in the exact place indicated on the map in the app, except for yours. I checked with Expedia and they confirmed that information is supplied by the property. I'm sure this was an unintentional mistake on your part, but that doesn't change the fact that you incorrectly advertised the location of your property as being less than 1 minute walk to the beach which is the ONLY reason I booked it. Had the location been represented in its actual location I would not have made a reservation. I understand you have cancellation policies but surely if that cancellation is because of a mistake that YOU made then the guest is entitled...

Larose Camp is very Cozy, unique, quite and Instagram beautiful hotel.

It's like find hidden gem in Canggu.

I love this place with modern contemporary architecture building and unique interior design with BIG round window for each room. And the lighting is perfect.

You can easily sit there at the round window to read, work or even watch TV. They put nice and perfect pillow so I can use it for my back or laptop.

The bedroom and bathroom are both spacious, neat and clean. Bathroom with seperated shower and bath tub. The bed is comfortable with kingsize.

The room is completed with mini chiller, safety box, wardrobe, coffee marker, umbrella, toiletries and amenities.

Staffs, front desk and Manager are very welcome, friendly, professional and attentive for guest inquiry. Mba Niluh, Pak Made, Wayan, Eka, Heru, pak Pudja did very good work. Thank you!

Flooding in bedroom and questionable business strategy. The villa was beautiful, and the staff were lovely. The place was a little run down and there was evidence of a lack of maintenance. We thought nothing of it until we woke up at 2:30am with our entire bedroom and living area under a full cm of water. The drains were clogged and had overflowed from the rain. We quickly moved everything onto shelves and tables. We messaged the staff but naturally didn’t hear anything as it was the middle of the night. In the morning we told them again and we got a “sorry and cleaning will get round to it”. We believed that at the very least a refund for that night was appropriate but their manager said it was not possible as we “still stayed the whole night and it was normal for bedrooms to flood”, as if it would have been possible to pack up and check out at 3am with no staff available. Whilst the villa was lovely and the staff themselves were very nice, unfortunately we won’t be returning and advise anyone who prefers beds rather than boats to avoid...
