I would like to share my experience at Milk & Madu in Canggu. The service was absolutely amazing, especially thanks to Danny, the waiter. He is super helpful, very professional, and understands exactly what I want. I’m a picky person when it comes to food, but Danny got everything right from the very first time I said it. I didn’t even have to explain much—he just understood, which makes a big difference for someone like me. He truly does his job so well—I give him a full 5 stars!

Also, I have to say that Milk & Madu in Canggu is one of my favorite restaurants. I come here every year when I visit Bali, and it always keeps the same vibe.

On the other hand, I was surprised by the branch in Ubud—it was messy and not clean at all. The floor and the toilet area really need attention. In fact, the toilet area was so messy you could not even touch anything, and the vibes there were not good at all. I only ate quickly because I was hungry and then left. It was disappointing compared to the Canggu branch.

Over the years, I’ve tried many dishes in Canggu and most of them were very good. I did try the steak a few years ago and it wasn’t to my liking, so I haven’t ordered it again since.

Recently I dined at Milk and Madu Beach Road, a restaurant that had been highly recommended. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the hype. Despite the inviting ambiance, the meal was a significant disappointment, especially given the high prices.

The menu boasts a variety of dishes, but the descriptions seemed more promising than the actual food. I ordered the Nduja pizza, expecting a flavorful and well-executed dish, but it was mushy and lacked the vibrant taste one would expect from such a specialty.

To accompany the meal, I ordered the Tiki Tok mocktail. This, too, was disappointing – it was watery and lacked the bold, refreshing flavors that I anticipated. It felt more like a diluted juice than a carefully crafted mocktail.

Adding to the frustration was the steep pricing. The dish was overpriced considering the quality and unremarkable taste.
