All in all, great value for money!
Booked a Double Suite with Pool View
Location: Located in Batubelig which seems to be a bit further from the usual tourist hangouts (central Canggu/Seminyak) but with a car it was still convenient. Free parking in front of the hotel but limited slots, it didn't seem to be peak period so we got a parking slot everytime. Free shuttle to Batubelig beach.
Room: Room was sufficiently large for 3 pax (1 Queen bed + extra sofa bed). There was a small table for us to eat at, TV with international channels, small balcony with 2 chairs overlooking the pool. Bed was really comfortable, clean. Small fridge. Blackout curtains were pretty dark. Fruits and umbrellas in room upon check in.
Toilet: Toilet was huge, with a bathtub, separate shower and toilet so it was convenient. Fresh set of towels provided every morning (bath, face and hand towel), toilet floor towel changed and nicely folded.
Staff: Staff spoke great English and they were so attentive! They were waiting for our arrival and had staff to bring our bags up on standby. Welcome drink offered while checking in. They saw that we had laundry hanging off the railing on the balcony on the first day and brought in a drying rack during housekeeping and even hung our clothes up.
Facilities: A decently sized 1.2m pool in between the two buildings of rooms, sun beds, sun parasols and sun towels provided. Pool was clean and had full sun for tanning. Closes ~9pm. Small open gym on level 3 with cable machine, squat rack, bench press area, free weights and 2 treadmills, sufficient for a decent workout. Closes at 8.30pm though so time your workouts. Spa room in level 3 available but reservations via Whatsapp required as they will need to call in the therapist. Restaurant on level 2, didn't eat there so not sure if it's good.
Improvements: 24/7 gym and pool...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE I booked two nights at this place and had a slip n fall at no fault of my own. I broke my wrist and fractured my shoulder. The staff on duty failed to mop the water on the marble stair case and throughout the upstairs restaurant area or alarm guest of the excessive amount of water in the floor. I'm hoping to get a response from the manager or owner since he didn't have the decency or courtesy to respond to the email I sent him. Upon arrival the entire staff was attentive but when the incident happened I haven't received any assistance. Please find somewhere else to stay there are so many amazing places to stay in Bali with real caring ppl don't allow this place to ruin or cut your trip short due to neglect. There's no eatery or excitement in this area or street go to Canngu or Ubud, Ulutawau anywhere but here! Hazards location also if you book a downstairs villa check the room my room smelled like cigarettes, there's a ton of dead caterpillars around the bath tub, shower, room curtains and an unknown bug came out the closet when I opened to get an umbrella at that point I requested a room change. Don't book the other Mokko location it's ran down & old (read...
Read moreNo regrets selecting this small boutique hotel. 3 floors, served by elevator. The room was bright and beautiful. Kitchenette/dining area. Kettle, coffee/tea, bottled drinking water, refrigerator, induction hotplate and basic cutlery/crockery provided. A 3 seater sofa and coffee table in the sitting area. The king bed that we had was so comfortable and firm. The bathroom was luxurious. A separate shower room, separate WC room, a separate section with vanity counter/wash basin and luxurious bath-tub. The staff were so attentive. They noticed that it was my daughter's birthday, and surprised her with a birthday cake when we came down to the lobby. The hotel is situated in a small alley road. Very quiet and peaceful. Convenience shops, are just a stone's throw away. Otherwise, expect to use Grab taxi, or Grab ride frequently. Not much night life and activities in this part of Kuta. Except for Batubelig beach about 15mins stroll away, which is dotted with bars with outdoor beach seating, where you can catch the...
