The Corner House — Restaurant in Cork

The Corner House is one of the best pubs that I have come across recently in Cork. I visited it by chance and was blow away by how unique and authentic the bar is! The walls are covered with pictures and memorabilia from Irish history and times gone by for the owners and locals who frequent this pub! The bar staff are very friendly and attentive and will make sure you get your desired drink promptly! They do a lovely pint of Guinness and they have a wide selection of beers, ciders and wines! Its is a great pub whether you’re looking for a quiet place to have a pint by the fire, or on another night you are looking for a spot with fantastic live music by excellent musicians! Best place in Cork! This was my first day in Ireland for my honeymoon. My flight was cancelled and I had been up for over 30 hours fighting to get to Ireland. I was looking for a fun place with a local crowd. I found what I was looking for here. I spent the entire evening talking to nice people and learning about the local alcohol from the owner. I could not have asked for a better introduction to Ireland than coming here. Great beer selection, awesome live music and good vibe here. Definitely recommend coming here if you are traveling...

Very disappointed, was offended & will not return.

Started off well, first drink was grand with good service & nice music. We were a group of 8 that came in after work to enjoy the atmosphere, but we were clearly not welcome and an older gent at the bar made that very clear when we were looking to order again mentioning this wasn't the place for us & we were too loud.
