A Perfect Final Stay in Ireland My 9-year-old daughter and I spent our last night in Ireland at the Glashaus Hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our trip. The hotel is modern, clean, and very well located, with shops, restaurants, and public transport just steps away – incredibly convenient! One of the standout features was the well-organized underground parking, which made arriving and settling in completely hassle-free. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And then — the breakfast! Absolutely fabulous. I can honestly say I’ve never had such perfect Eggs Benedict. Everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and served with care. Our room was comfortable and peaceful, ideal for a restful final night. The entire experience at Glashaus Hotel felt like a treat — modern comforts with genuine Irish hospitality. A truly perfect last night and last breakfast for us in Ireland. Highly recommended!

Although the Glashaus is way out of the city centre, it is right next to the Luas Red line for Tallaght. This means its only a twenty minute ride into see most of Dublins attractions. The hotel has a nice bar and restaurant. The rooms were modern and clean with plenty of room amenities. Around the back of the hotel is a large shopping complex at The Square, with a variety of restaurants and bars within close proximity to the hotel. Check in and out was easy. If you are coming from Dublin airport to the hotel take the Big Green Bus from zone 16 opposite terminal 1 of the airport, then change at Red Cow Luas Park and ride for the tram to the Tallaght stop which is right outside the Hotel.

Ideally situated in the suburb of Tallaght in Dublin, The Glashaus is a modern, compact hotel offering basement parking which is complimentary. An initial difficulty with the room rate was quickly and quietly resolved by Brenda. A spacious family room in need of freshening up overlooks the nearby Square shopping centre. The Luas tram line terminates outside the hotel. Small details like broken curtain hooks in the room have been missed and it hasn't been picked up by room staff and repaired. Bar food was fine and efficiently served by Brenda and Daniel. Breakfast was also satisfactory. More plusses than minuses in our stay. We've stayed previously and will in the future.

went into bar for drinks and food literally only 2 tables 4 customer their about 3ish. I had been here before similar experience thought I would give them another chance and presumed they would have new staff or staff would be fired as it was worse then a reality TV show||Sat down expecting the manager leaning at corner bar to come down or 1 barman to come down ask us do we want a drink or menus. No obviously not waited 20 mins eventually bar man came down while the manager went out for a smoke and went back to being useless leaning on the bar ||I asked for a pint of birra moretti and a glass of wine my partner got took literally 10 mins and 30 mins in got a half a pint and a tiny glass of wine. I then asked for food menus obviously I would have to ask they would hardly give you the menu and seemed burdoned by the question making you feel awkward and guilty and asked for a pint as requested song and dance ||So wait this is the best part got menus and waited finished the drinks 50mins to nearly and hour 2 staff their now and manager still doing nothing and a miserable face. Nothing comes down after an hour had finished the drink like 25/30 mins ago and goes has any 1 taken your order yet to which I replied obviously not your here theirs only 4 customers now including us and your looking at us for the last hour from a few meters away doing nothing behind bar while the manager is falling asleep leaning on the counter absolute disgrace didn't ask us if we wanted another drink outrageous stuff another family left before us giving out they were never served and even went to bar and didn't get the drinks I wouldn't mind but this is the second time and last this has happened I don't understand how the manager is employed still or how the staff get away with this and why comer brothers put up with such terrible staff and a horrendous lazy...

Reconsider if you are looking to book this hotel. We visited many hotels all over the world, but never have we experienced this before. Our room was not cleaned. When I informed the front desk (politely), their response was that they don't clean the rooms, they just provide clean towels (?). The guy at the front desk must have been absent during the customer friendliness course. He treated me like I was a joke and it seemed to be amusing to him. I said we did receive clean towels, but the room itself was not cleaned at all (toilet, shower, hairs on the floor and bed not made). Then he accused me of putting up the "do not disturb" sign outside the room. I told him we didn't do that, in fact we put up the "please clean room" sign. He then said the cleaning staff must have read it wrong. This was a weird explanation, since I just told him we received clean towels (while we were not in the room). His attitude was completely laid back and he didn't seem to care much about my complaint. The most upsetting part was that they even lied to Booking.com after I asked them to assist in this matter. They told Booking.com that we displayed the "do not disturb" sign and therefore they were not allowed to enter the room. Tell me, how can you claim this on the one hand and at the same time leave clean towels in the room? On top of this all, the bread at breakfast was old. I have never experienced this kind of behavior at any hotel I've stayed in. Please don't treat your customers like this if you chose a job in...

Stayed here last week before a concert, and flying out the day after.

We booked two rooms, a family room and a double room for my elderly mother.

When we checked in, the air conditioning in the family room was not working. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so we called reception who sent someone up.

They couldn’t understand the fault code and said there was nothing they could do so they said they’d bring a portable AC unit. They came back shortly after with a tiny, I mean tiny desk plugin fan as they couldn’t find the AC unit.

Unacceptable considering we paid almost €250 for the night for the room.

If it wasn’t for the cleaning lady, who made it her business to insist BOTH rooms were moved to another floor with working AC. She was AMAZING. I really don’t recall her name but I think it was Anna - we stayed on Thursday 20th June so hotel management can identify her that way.

Reception didn’t really seem interesting but Anna personally did. She arranged for the rooms to be moved and even carried our stuff between all the rooms too! She deserves a raise. Please pass the note to...
