Leisureplex Tallaght — Local services in South Dublin

I come to leisureplex Tallaght atleast 3 times a week for a game of pool and to try win some teddies for my girlfriend, and normally all is well and the staff are quite nice, however I had a terrible time there today, there was a different manager on today from the other one I know, I was playing a claw machine, it brought the teddy up to the prize shoot and dropped it, but because the claw was moving, it swung the teddy to the other machine, a common occurrence, which I have in the past explained to the manager and she would retrieve the teddy for me, the other manager refused that today, and the thing that annoyed me the most, was when I finally won the teddy after having to play and play to the pay out rate again, I asked if they could exchange the teddy for another one in another machine which they always without fail do for me however they would not do that for me today and that really annoyed me, if your gonna have a standard, stick to it, don’t do it for me one day and then not do it the other. I already had the teddys I won and wanted to simply exchange them which they always do, now normally the other manager is lovely and does all of this for me but the one today was simply not having it, I spent a total of 80 today and they couldn’t simply swap a teddy, shameful, also one of the staff I have found to be consistently rude to me and my girlfriend is Abbie, be ready for a side eye, and sigh when asking...

The arcade is very poorly maintained, it seems like they care about literally everything else but the arcade. I see a racing game stuck on a blue screen loop after walking in, I come back around 2 weeks later. It's still on the blue screen!

I've asked them to connect their SMX machine to the internet 3 times: They told me that it cannot be connected. StepManiaX has full Wi-Fi support and can easily be connected. Before they upgraded to SMX, they had a Euromix 2 cabinet. It was in extremely bad condition, multiple buttons were missing or cracked, and the pads were really bad to play with.

I had my daughter's party here. She has additional needs. I booked it through the manager Elizabeth. She went out of her way to cater for my daughter's needs and her friends who also have additional needs. One of the kids at my daughter's party experienced bowling for his first time and he had such an amazing time which will be remembered forever. My daughter had lots of fun with her friends. The staff were so attentive to anything we asked for. I recommend Tallaght Leisureplex to everyone and being a very inclusive local business for kids with additional needs.
