B&b I Trulli dei Desideri — Hotel in Alberobello

The trullo itself is amazing but the kindness of the host Danielle is what makes the difference. Danielle organizes transfers for a very reasonable price. He picked us up at Bari airport and waited for us up until 11 PM as our flight was more than an hour late. We requested some food for dinner and he was so kind to provide us with fruits, veggies, focaccia and even wine, all for a very reasonable price. The trullo itself was amazing. Located 5 mins away from the historic centre in a quiet area. There is a very nice garden with chairs and a table where one can sit down and relax in the shade. We stayed in the larger trullo, which comes with a big double bed and a couch bed. The kitchen is well equipped, everything was spotless clean and there is even a spa bath in the bathroom, which comes with all kinds of toiletries. The trullo is a 250 year old house, which is amazingly renovated by Danielle and maintained by him and his family. Danielle, his mamma and Nonna were so welcoming. This is a little treasure. It is away from the main throng of the centre and the more expensive trullis. However you can park your car opposite in a free car park. The walk to town is less than 10 minutes and you are in the heart. You would probably have to park you car in the same car park anyway if you stayed closer. The accommodation is stunning. Everything had a lot of attention and it was well thought out. Really high standards of facilities and fittings. Breakfast was brought to the Trulli. You can make coffee and tea and there is a fridge of water and juice and fruit. The bed was a amazing. Just got back from staying in this lovely accommodation. We stayed for two nights. |As per the other reviews 5-10 minute walk into town which is lovely with a lot of trulli. There are littles lanes off from main pedestrian road you just wonder around finding more beautiful square’s restaurants etc. |if you stayed in the main town parking would be difficult but with this accommodation free parking opposite. |Supermarket minutes walk away. You are given credit for breakfast which again is minutes away. You have 5 euros credit to choose what you want. |We stayed in number 1 which had sofa table and chairs and kitchen.
