We stayed one night in Trullo Lucio, a gorgeous beautifully restored trullo with all comforts (comfy bed, underfloor heating, cooking area, fridge...) and our daughter had the joy to sleep on the sofa bed (don't be fooled...it is a really good one with a big thick mattress!) right underneath the "cone"! I wish we had more time to enjoy a drink or a breakfast out in the little courtyard kitted out with outdoor furniture...it was so appealing!||And now let's talk about the real gem of this accommodation....its owner Flavio!||Flavio took us ( and our companion travelers also staying in his trullis) for an amazing tour of Alberobello and his passion and knowledge of this fabulous place really shine through and it is infectious and stays on as a beautiful memory! he's also taken photos of us and surprised us with a yummy treat of fresh mozzarella as we went walking between roads dotted with trulli....he even booked us at a restaurant for the night!||* Five stars!!!||Thank you very much for a...

We booked not knowing that the annual festival was taking place (a fantastic event that you should see) and after realising this we asked Flavio to book restaurants for us for the evenings. His choices were fist class. Flavio and Cristiana were great hosts and help from the moment we arrived. Alberobello is a simply stunning town with 3 areas of Trulli that are well worth a visit. The festival of Saints Cosmas and Damian unfolded before our eyes and is a must see event every...
