Our family of four, including two teenagers, had the absolute pleasure of dining at this hidden gem nestled within a 14th-century Trullo home in Puglia, and it was, without a doubt, the most perfect and memorable experience of our entire Italian trip. This family-owned restaurant is an absolute must-visit when in the region. From the moment we stepped inside, the attention to detail was impeccable. The ambiance of dining within such a historic and unique structure was truly enchanting. But it wasn't just the setting that impressed us – the dishes were simply the best we had during our entire time in Italy! Each plate was a testament to fresh, local ingredients and masterful culinary skill. As if the experience couldn't get any better, we were even seated in a private section of the restaurant, adding an extra layer of intimacy and charm to our family meal. The service was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel completely at ease. If you're looking for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience in Puglia, look no further. The staff’s arrogance is matched only by their rudeness, sneering at us as if we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. Their so-called “special” seafood pasta, a slimy, overpriced slop, was slapped on our plates at an obscene €18 each—double what any decent trattoria would dare charge for such a disgrace. To add insult to injury, they tacked on a €6 “service” fee for what can only be described as contempt disguised as hospitality. The food was so abysmal it soured our entire trip, convincing us to ditch restaurants altogether and cook our own meals, which were leagues better than this overrated dump. Trullo Garden preys on unsuspecting visitors, banking on Alberobello’s charm to mask its mediocrity. It’s a place where sheep blindly follow Tripadvisor stars, too spineless to call out the scam. Save your money and your sanity,eat literally anywhere else. This was, without question, the worst dining experience we’ve ever endured.
