My wife and I stayed 1 night with a guaranteed reservation.||We drove our rental car 70km from Matera, stopping at 1927 San Antonio Church along the way. After lunch/shopping at Conad supermarket, we arrived at #33 Via Columbo at 1:30PM. We rang the bell and an English speaking receptionist arrived within 15 minutes. He led us across the street to our trulli house, explained the room heat controls, coffee machine, and gas stove, before crossing the street to copy our passports and process our Visa payment. ||A windowed Dutch door opened to our 3 room trulli. The first and largest room has a comfortable queen with wood box nightstands, closet, small wall TV(no English) and small shelf desk with chair, all facing the open kitchen with sink and gas stove top. To the side is a small bathroom with a sit tub/shower(too small). Another side of the entry has a small bedroom with a double bed and small window, and to its side, the dining room with a hutch(filled with kitchenware), refer, and table with 4 chairs.||We had secure internet, hot water, and a quiet night's sleep. ||This accommodation was not only unique in architecture but has secure parking, less than 1km from Conad City, and permits walking access to the wonderful UNESCO site of...

The parking arrangements are good, you are given a code for the electric gate by the young chap called Jimmy, i think, he told us some gems of information such as to where various restaurants were & also how good they were. All in all it was a lovely stay in a beautiful old building,...
