I asked the waiter for some information about the ingredients of a pizza Margherita. I specifically asked if it contained “traces” of peanuts, lupine, soy or legumes. I even translated it in Italian. The waiter specifically said he would discuss the matter with the chef and come back. He took our order and left. Almost an hour later he came back with Two pizza’s, for my mother and sister and an empty plate for me? I was stunned and thought it was a mistake and I would get my food like they did, but a bit later. So I asked him did you ask the chef? Is it ok? And he said “we don’t want to take the risk”. I looked at the waiter and asked well ok but do you have something that is save? Because now I sit here with an empty plate while they are suppose to be eating?
So as my mom and sister eat some bites of their pizza we were just too stunned and decided just to leave, because I do need to eat while being pregnant. We wanted to tell the owner and chef this was not te correct way to handle this matter. If the waiter told us sooner, we would have looked for another restaurant and all would be well. Instead the chef/owner said he did tell the waiter sooner and the waiter told us on time? Me and my sister both said NO he did not tell us AFTER the brought the food in! and the owner or chef then said the food is safe, but he just said it was not? That’s why my plate was empty.
This was the worst experience ever....

Many people who arrived later than me had their orders taken first. Some of the seating was oddly spaced where in some parts, tables would be really close to neighbors' tables. If that's your thing, well, you're in luck. What else. No wifi. The food was meh - I didnt even take a photo because it was so average looking and tasting. Atmosphere, however, is quite good - if you sit on the outdoor patio you get a great view of Rione Monti and the fun conical rooftops of Alberobello. Maybe the best option would be to do what I saw italian locals do -- show up, order slices to go, which are already prepared at the front of the shop, and...

Most bars and local eateries serve small dishes and drinks mostly. Some pizzerias even told us that they only serve pizza during summer. That's a bummer when you and your 2 kids are hungry at 6 pm.
This is why this pizzeria with a fantastic view (pictured), reasonable pricing, and delicious pizze came just right!
Everything was nice, and I can't complain about a thing. The pizze were crunchy, just how I...
