From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding service—greeted like old friends rather than first-time visitors. What started as a quick stop quickly turned into a memorable retreat, thanks to the inviting atmosphere and attentive staff. My partner noticed the impressive selection of unique liquors behind the bar. The owner graciously offered us samples, showcasing rare bottles and sharing his passion for craft spirits. When we mentioned our preference for products from democratic countries, he responded instantly, highlighting a range of vodkas from those origins—an impressive attention to detail and customer care. The bartender hosted us with a perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness, making us feel completely at home. The selection of gins and amaro alone is worth the visit, with options you won’t find just anywhere. This place is truly a gem. We left feeling as if we’d been on vacation, younger and lighter in spirit—a testament to the exceptional hospitality and unique experience offered here. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a special bar/ restaurant with heart...
Read moreThe guys at Apperó are just AMAZING. They are the kindest, most helpful people we’ve met (and in Italy the competition on this is very fierce!), and the food and the cocktails… breathtaking.
We had the mix of “meat”balls (for lack of a better term) as starter, which was heavenly, with some Limoncello Spritz. It turns out their Limoncello is homemade, and the prosecco used is local (and very very close from the restaurant!). Then we had the “puccia” with octopus. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
The octopus is slowly cooked for 7 hours with olive oil infused in lemon, served with fresh stracciatella, roasted tomatoes, and some salad. You have to try it. Never tried such a good sandwich our lives.
We finished off with their own version of the mojito, which was on pair with the rest: edenflower-infused sugar, lime and lemon mixed together, and soda with grapefruit… heavenly.
On top of that, you are sitting just in front of lots of trulli.
They also gave us a lot of meaningful tips for the rest of our trip.
I can only wholeheartedly recommend their beautiful, tasty...
Read moreEverything was perfect !
The restaurant open its kitchen early, so it’s really enjoyable when you’re hungry and don’t want to eat something on the go or wait.
The service is absolutely amazing, the waiter/boss was really patient, loved explaining the flavors and food ! I loved the tomato and mozzarella salad, it’s actually the best I ever had. I wanted to go back to Alberobello just for that dish ! The olive oil is a must, with bread and on top of the salad. Pinsa and Focaccia are also really tasty !
The restaurant has seats available outside, in front of a traditional Tulli, in a street not too crowded. There are also seats inside, with a lovely decoration !
Thanks again and will definitely come back !...
