I booked an apartment at Residence La Costa as part of a package through Expedia. La Costa is located up the hill, about a fifteen minute walk into town. I suspect this is geared primarily toward Europeans who bring their own stuff. The fact that there aren't many reviews in English supports this theory.||||Check-in with Luca was simple and straightforward, and he was very helpful with recommending an agriturismo for dinner (Lu Branu--fantastic) and making a reservation for us.||||There is plenty of parking in various small lots around the property.||||Pros:||Apartment is spacious and has decent amenities.||Kitchen is ample and convenient, but I wouldn't have tried to actually cook anything there.||Outdoor table and chairs are nice.||View is pretty spectacular.||Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.||||Cons:||Surcharge for linens--it's stated in the reservation, but it's still weird. Quiet and attractive layout so privacy is fairly good. Parking facilities. But not 300m from marina as stated. Much, much further (15 mins walk which is ok). 2 pleasnt marinas so a nice location. Mega expensive restaurants and bars (as is all Sardinia. £10 average for a beer, small wine and water. 2 course meal with wine for 2 approx €60-€80)||No hairdryer, no oven or microwave, no kettle (a pain) and limited cutlery & crockery etc.||A charge for hiring bed linen and towels! (Take your own)||Excellent view from a good sized balcony but it's always shaded/cool.||On arrival we struggled to check in as no reception open and no one answering number stated which was a little distressing at 8pm. But a very well priced complex with pleasnt gardens ad surroundings. Clean. Basic....
Read moreWe enjoyed our stay very much! The area is very well maintained and is very quiet. Also the apartments are very clean. We stayed in the no 11 and had a wonderful view over the bay. Luca is extremely helpful, everything is quite uncomplicated. To borrow the barbecue you just inform the guys in the morning. The bedroom can be darkened, the beds are okay. There is enough storage space, the refrigerator is large and has an extra freezer. Something unusual, perhaps: bed linen and towels you have to pay for 15 euros per person and stay. But you can also bring your own. There is no internet access at the apartments but in the area of the reception you receive it all the time. Thanks to Luca and...
