B&B Oblò — Hotel in Catania

This hotel consists of four rooms on the seventh floor of a largely residential block, but with lift access. It is situated within easy walking distance of the main sights and the railway and bus stations. Our flight to Catania was delayed, so we were sent details of the various key codes needed to access the building, which worked fine. The reception is not usually manned, so, in fact, we saw no one from the hotel (but didn't need to – and had contact details in case of any issues) until we were leaving a few days later, when the owner, Antonella, made a point of catching up with us.||The room was recently refurbished (along, I guess, with the whole hotel). It was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom. Notes suggested that breakfast was available to order, but, since we saw no one, we did not know how to access this. However, this was not an issue, with a very serviceable coffee bar more or less next...

We really loved our stay at B&B Oblò! The hosts were really friendly and helpful! They recommended us a lot of places to visit and also good places to eat in Catania. By the way, the breakfast at B&B Oblò is great! If the weather is good you can take the breakfast on the balcony with e great view to the plaza!||The rooms are being cleaned every day, the bed was made every day and, also, every day we got free water and bathroom amenities. ||Also, the location of B&B Oblò is great! You are really close to the bus station (when you come from the airport), also close to the train station if you want to take the bus for Etna. ||We recommend renting a car from the airport for 2-3 days so you can visit the places around Catania.
