Did not let me down . Exceeded my every expectations of my first Opera in Catina Italy. 🇮🇹A wonderful experience❤️. Cast was wonderfully delightful They sang like beautiful birds. The acting was done brilliantly. Very funny actually. The theater is known to be one of the best acoustic theater in Europe. You could hear it clear with out any microphones singing and Orchestra. At one point if you are fortunate to get ground seats the cast runs through and sings and interacts in the isles . Very fun! There was an electronic board in English and Italian words of the singing during the show to follow along.😇you can get tickets that day at noon for the 5 :30 pm show. The tickets ran 48. Euro a piece for ground floor. So not to pricey. I recommend it highly. People were very nice who work there. Beautiful experience. Bravo 👏 Italy 🇮🇹:)😇❤️

The website with information on the tours is not available. You can just go there and they have a tour every hour from 10 a.m. (at least on weekdays). The tour costs 6€ and lasts around 45 mins. Unfortunately when we were there they were testing the lights so we could see the main stage properly. However the rest of the tour is really nice and the guide gave some interesting information. Especially the upper floors are beautiful. Please note that the tour is available only in Italian (at least when we went) - the guide allowed me to translate for my wife who doesn't speak Italian

My first tour inside an opera house. Totally worth it we agree. The tour guide spoke english too. We took the 11 am tour. Not too big a group. The tour last around 45 mins max. You get to sit inside for a few mins. Experience how it feels to among a full house of 1500 people (max capacity). The big hall at the top is where audiences take a break at intermission. Also amazing art work worth watching. My recommendation: Absolutely worth it. Ticket price: 8 euros Duration: 45 mins

Super friendly staff all round who are willing to chat and get to know you a bit so they can give you good recommendations around town. The place its self is beautiful and gives any opera house in London a run for its money, in fact I believe it outdoes all of them as this place is so understated and the small entrance way gives birth to an even greater spectacle. So much history here I highly recommend going on the tour which can be in English or Italian or both Thanks

Great location in old town. Very beautiful inside. Very little information for Madam Butterfly. No tickets online without explanation. No ushers in gallery so many seated late and played musical chairs throughout. Cannot compare to Teatro Massimo Palermo. That is run efficiently. In addition Palermo is more experimental (Pink Floyd & Carmen were brilliant). Still, Teatro Massimo Bellini is a must see.

Tours are at nine, 10, 11 and maybe 12. Unfortunately they are apparently all in Italian even though the guide speaks English. The place looks like it used to be very lovely but now it is kind of rundown. We were not allowed to go near the stage or backstage which I think would’ve been fun. It is not expensive so it’s still worth it to go and see but we thought it could’ve been a lot better.
