We usually stay in VRBO type apartments to enjoy the character, intimacy and value we find they offer in comparison to hotels. But in cities we sometimes choose hotels especially when we are visiting that city for the first time. Fera 'O Luni could have no more charm and character yet the advantages of a hotel without the usual higher price.||||Our room was delightful and large. We were offered the choice of a room on a higher level but the stairs seemed to go on forever - only a problem for anyone whose wife has a bag as heavy as mine! The manageress was warm and generous with hospitality and information but not a fixture as the equivalent might be in a hotel. Nevertheless she gave us her mobile number and it seems she is usually somewhere in the building or nearby so not a problem. Amid the lacework, ornate linens and period furnishings maybe they thought a small fridge in the room out of place. But that's the only extra touch I...
Read moreWe have visited Catania twice in the last two years and stayed at this fantastic little guest house both times. We just wish we had more time there as both times we could only stay for one night. This year our granddaughter was with us so we had a perfect room on the top floor with two connecting bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a mixture of antique charm and modern comfort. The beds are very comfortable, nice linens and modern bathrooms. The huge terrace overlooking the market is fantastic and very busy in the morning but quiet at night. It's an easy walk to all the main sights in Catania. The hostess also recommended a great little restaurant that we liked so much that we went back the next day for lunch. Breakfast at the B&B is also very nice with lots of choice including eggs, pastries, etc. We can't say enough good things about this wonderful, charming B&B. We highly...
Read moreI can not begin to say enough good things about Fera O'Luni B and B. The warmth, charm and magic that oozes from this exquisite guest house is overwhelming.||From the delicious little porcelain cups and saucers to the lace doilies, beautiful furnishings and old-fashioned charm, you know you're surrounded by something special.||We only stayed at Fera O'Luni for one night but were met with professional elegance and kindness by Marisa who really impressed me. We had to leave early the next morning to catch a flight and so she left us a basket of biscuits, juices and sweets to take on our trip and arranged an early taxi pick-up for a great price early Sunday morning.||I recommend Fera O'Luni with the highest praise and look forward to a return trip when I can spend more time at this...
