Fud was a highlight of my time in Catania. I ate like a king. I started with a platter of Sicilian meats and cheeses. This included all the trimmings, the honey and chutney-like concoction were fabulous! That would have been enough food for most people, but I also ordered the saliva-inducing "Blu Burgher". I'll be tucking into it later on tonight as I was only able to finish half after my feast. Despite feeling full after my main, I somehow found space for a dessert. I decided to go for the panna cotta. I didn't regret it. Life changing would perhaps be an exaggeration of how good it was, but only just. I loved it. And it was the perfect accompaniment to my server's digestif recommendation. Speaking of the staff, they always seemed to have a smile on their face, were welcoming and attentive. I got the impression that if I came back two or three times they would know me my name. What's more, the entire team could be models if the restaurant business doesn't work out for them.
