BEWARE, Numa hotel will use photos of very beautiful and spacious rooms in their posting, the photos make you think you are paying for some sort of 'Palazzo' style room, but upon arrival, we found only a very basic room that resembled a cheap, motel room. Numa is using photos that do NOT align in any way with what they are selling. Then, because they do a digital check-in, there is nobody present to address the problem. I emailed with Numa customer support to discuss, but only an AI chatbot responded to tell me that the photos they provide are just examples of what a room may look like.... What? Should the customer play this game also? Should I provide Numa with a credit card and payment that is only an example of what my payment will actually be? I asked for a partial refund or a change of room and got not response. I advise you to find another hotel that engages in honest marketing and business practices. See photos below of their marketing photo on the right and our actual room...

While the listing might have been technically accurate in terms of basic amenities (which was the scripted response i received when i called the number), the room we received was nothing like the majority of photos for the same room. A couple of google pictures from users show the actual rooms but the pictures provided by the hotel are incredibly misleading. The room was more like a cheap chain hotel you could find off the autoroute, and we did not even reserve for the cheapest room in the building.
The floors are painted concrete similar to a parking garage, with lots of wear and marks. The furniture is cheap and worn. We could hear every movement above us, and there was quite a bit of noise even at midnight. Black mold in the bathroom.
No staff on site to help, but able to respond with scripted answers via telephone.

Read moreI recently toured Palazzo San Niccolo as part of my study abroad course with the purpose to understand Fluorene real estate and hospitality. I was so impressed by the complex and won over by the staff that I had to say something! The front of the building can be misleading because it blends in with the surrounding buildings but as you walk in you are surrounded by elegance and charm. There are beautiful indoor and outdoor communal areas to get work done and to relax. The residential rooms are grand and detailed. The complexes location is hard to beat, sitting on the Arno river, its just a stones throw from the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge. Lastly, the staff was great! They were professional and gave great advice on Florence (their English was great). Definitely, check this place out if you...
