Today was a non-nice experience from a beloved rose garden. we came with children around 7:30. Want’s to go out from the garden at 8:15 from the same door what we did use before. Unfortunately, the janitor girl did not shepherd us in a very negative tone and close dore in front us. She loudly talked to us in negotive way tone. it was 15 minutes before closing the gate and we was inside garden and not outside, but she had to close earlier and made me and the kids walked all the way back from different gate. Attaching the foto after we already pass all way back to gate. 15 minutes we did walk with children to get a same gate what we can...
Read moreThis fragrant and verdant garden is literally 4 minutes from our AirBnB. Many visitors walk up Via del Monte alle Croci to this garden, which is located on a steep hill. Visitors should know to be cognizant of the traffic, as there is a sharp curve near the steps leading from the road to the ascent of the garden! We walked there on Friday evening and the live music contributed to a fun and laid back vibe. There are multiple photo op locations for both the roses and the city’s horizon. It’s the kind of place you want to return to with the picnic lunch…to stop and smell...
Read moreCame upon this beautiful rose garden as we were walking up to Piazzale Michelangelo. Look to enter the garden through a small entrance at the bottom instead of the main entrance further up the hill. This will allow you to explore the garden as you go uphill rather than entering at the top, explore downhill and then have to walk back uphill again to continue up to Piazzale Michelangelo. The roses were blooming beautifully but as it was raining today, some of the flowers were drooping. This is also a great place to view the Duomo and Florence city from afar. Love this garden. Will definitely visit again if I'm back...
