Zoe — Restaurant in Florence

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Bar Zoe during my trip to Florence, and I must say it was one of the highlights of my visit. Tucked away from the bustling tourist spots, Bar Zoe offers a perfect blend of local charm and modern ambiance.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere. The decor is chic yet cozy, making it an ideal spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. The outdoor seating area is particularly delightful, providing a serene setting to enjoy the Florentine evening.

The drink selection is impressive, with a wide variety of cocktails, wines, and local beers. I highly recommend trying their signature cocktails – each one is crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The bartenders are not only skilled but also very knowledgeable, offering great recommendations based on your preferences.

Never come back. Firstly, the staffs were unsure about their own service. We came for the aperitivo buffet. We came there around 5.30pm, and the staff told us that the buffet only started at 6.30pm. We wandered aound the near by area for an hour, came back to the bar, only to be informed that the buffet started at 7pm, which meant we had to wait for half an hour more. Secondly, we were deceived by the pricing of the menu. The staff told us the price was €10/ pax (1 drink + buffet), so most of us ordered a €10 cocktail. Yet, the bill came at €58 for 5 of us. We were quite taken aback, and then they explained to us €2 extra was charged to the drink if we wanted to enjoy the buffet deal. Had we been notified in the first place, we would not have felt being cheated. In addition, the service was not up to standard. Most of the staff tried to ignored us. Moreover, even we came in when the bar was not crowded, the service was slow. The staff prefered chatting to the chef in the kitchen to answering to our order.

The food was not so impressive. We expected more fresh salad. More than half of the dishes was salty...

we were walking along and stopped by to grab some coffes to go from the bar. we asked for 2 coffes with ice and milk and the bartender started to make them without us finishing the order (we still wanted to know details like if they have soy milk). we had to talk to her while she was treating us with her back and she said they don t have soy milk, then we asked her to only do one coffee because the other person is lactose intolerant. we got a shot of espresso 🙂. i asked if there s milk or ice in it, she started shouting and called for a waiter to add milk. 😐 when I wanted to leave and pay the bartender did not want to talk to me. the same waiter had to come...
