We stayed in the apartment for 9 nights as a base to visit cinque terre.|We chose to stay in La Spezia as it a lown with plentiful options to dine in the evening after the long days visiting the villages.La Spezia has excellent rail, ferries and bus connections both to visit Cinque Terra and the towns beyond.|The Ca vour apartment is situated in an old building and the apartment was modern and very comfortable.|The location was central and ideal.|The host (Paul) was very helpful and available throughout on whatup for any queries or assistance.|The apartment itself was spotless thanks to the daily cleaning. We stayed four nights at Ca’vour affitacamere and we couldn’t have been happier. The place was absolutely perfect for us. Paolo has been very responsive, making the check-in easy and being helpful with all my requests. The room was very clean and very comfortable, including modern air con, firm mattresses, a lot of storage space, a small fridge and a coffee machine. The house is located on one of the main streets - next to a paticceria and a gelateria, which are both delicious - a 10min walk to the train station and not far from many restaurants and the port. We stayed for four nights here in June, and it was excellent. The room was clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning was excellent, which was critical during a heat wave. Paul, the manager, was lovely and responded quickly to our requests! Plus, the free breakfast every morning was icing on the cake of an excellent stay.
