Garni Lanzinger is very cozy, atmospheric and at the same time stylish and comfortable. I can highly recommend it to everyone and I will be happy to come back again!||What we liked:||- The room was clean, comfortable, light and stylish, with new furniture and fantastic view directly on the Sella Mountains. The bathroom was also new, very light and with a set of bath accessories. On the balcony there was a table and two chairs, in the evenings you can drink wine overlooking the mountains.||- It was our honeymoon, so we got the room with a decorated bed and probably with the best view of the mountains. Every morning I admired the view from the window! And at the check-in in every room there are also some sweets!||- Wonderful owners â wife and husband, very friendly and always smiling, they provide all the information about the region and they are very attentive to the needs of each client.||- Super breakfasts with vegetables and fruits, berries and nuts, meat and cheese cuts, scrambled eggs, croissants, several types of muesli, yoghurts, juices, coffee and tea. Everything was very tasty, fresh and local production.||- When we arrived, it was cold outside and in the room, but the next morning the heating was already turned on.||- At the reception you can get the tickets for public transport not only in Val Gardena, but for entire region (buses and regional trains), the only condition is that you must leave your ticket at the check-out (with the room keys).||- Wi-Fi worked good, not only for checking email, but also for the Skype.||- There is free private parking near the hotel.||- The hotel is decorated in a typical Alpine style with many lovely details, and outside there is a small relax area with sun beds and armchairs.||- There is a ski storage room (in winter) used like a bicycle room (in summer).||- For us the position of the hotel was very good. Almost in the center of Selva di Val Gardena near shops and restaurants, only 15 min by car from fantastic Passo Sella and about 20 min by bus from Ortisei (with a free ticket!) with its cable car to Mount Seceda. But it depends on what you want to see in Val Gardena.||What we did not like:||- The biggest problem of this hotel â there is no bidet, for Italy itâs very-very strange.||- Our bathroom was small, with noisy ventilation (turned on automatically with the light) and there were no hooks for large towels, only for a small right next to the sink (not very comfortable). There were only one portion of shower gel and soap for the whole of stay â very strange for the 3* hotel. ||- Our room was small and without fridge||- There was a small dressing-room at the entry to our room (very useful!) with the light turned on by motion sensor. But it reacted only at the ceiling level, so we had to jump for activate it)))||- At breakfast there was a strange seating system - we couldnât sit at any free table, the owners said us where to sit (as in restaurants)||- The reception works with 3-4 breaks of the day, so itâs not possible to ask for the information or help non-stop during...
Read moreWe stayed in garni for a week during our ski holidays. The hotel is cute, beautifully decorated, very clean (rooms' cleaning is every day, while you are at breakfast downstairs - just like a miracle - you come back and everything is done)) Martha, the owner of the hotel, was extremely helpful - anything we needed she done with pleasure and enthusiasm) we felt like we are friends who came for holidays) thank you, Martha for a warm welcome) |About food - the breakfast is splendid - baked bread, cheese, salami, proschutto, pate, butter, home-made jams, nutella, several kinds of musli, yogurt, fruits, nuts, some tasty baked croissants and pies, boiled eggs and fried eggs (thanks to Martha's mom;), hot coffee or chocolate.. Anything you can imagine to have for breakfast! Energy for the whole day! |What was also very valuable - it is really warm in the hotel! The clothes dry up easily and you never feel chilly! |The location is great too - the house is not on the main street, facing the forest, without noise of cars, but close enough to the restaurants and the lifts (5-7 minutes walking, I think). And after the skiing you can stop just 3 mins walking from the house! Or just in front of apres ski;) |The place is worth staying! You...
Read moreWe stayed in this garni for 10 winter days, and everything was perfect. Good location: close to 2 ski lifts in both directions of Sellaronda, also close to a bus stop, very close to ski school "2000", my 8-years son could go there by himself. The room is small, but clean. Heating can be controlled by yourself, so you can choose the temperature you need in the room. Unfortunately there is no kettle in the room, but maybe because it's not enough space for it there. Boots dryer in the ski room downstairs is very useful. The owner is very hospitable and helpful, Martha will do everything you feel like in a home. She fluently speaks English, German, Italian, Ladin. The breakfast was good: bread, butter, cheese, bacon, boiled eggs, corn flakes, fresh and dried fruit....
